(Portrait & Biographical Record of IL p. 482) SS Sub Jan 95 PROVOFor many years the only information we had on Benjamin Harris was that he was "OF PENDLETON DISTRICT, SOUTH CAROLINA." Today I have copied a Family Group Sheet apparently prepared by my cousind Don C. Corbett before he died, and which I have not seen in all the years I have attempted to research this line. After Don's death, I was unable to obtain any of the records he had prepared, though he and I had corresponded about working to obtain family support to publish his book about William Jasper Harris, Sr. plus other family records. I hope to locate the current keeper of these records and attempt to get the manuscript together to be published in some form at least to give credit to the huge amount of research and effort Cousin Don C. Corbett put into development of many family group records, as well as his history of this family. -Doug Paulson 6/14/1995 CHILD NOTES: Elizabeth HARRIS General(1,2): !RELATIONSHIPS:FHL 030,666 Brunswick Co.
