What has Cyber Sisters done
for me?

Back in Feb 1999, I was out of work on
"sick leave"...I had made so many Quick Key
pages that I had become bored.
So, I came up with idea of.... "where can all
our friends meet?"...therefore, I thought of
"Cyber Sisters".
At that time, I had no earthly idea where this
would go. It took off like a rocket. I got our
newsgroup passed, emailed a few girlfriends,
had a couple of banners made for advertisement.
Before CS, I would just wander around
aimlessly, answering email and making pages....
now, I can't wait to get up in the morning and
check our newsgroup and see what email I have
from my "Sisters".
I have made so many new friends. It has
completely changed my internet roaming.
I have a trusting relationship with these
girls. I really feel as tho they are my
sisters. There is always a place to go to
answer . If I need advice, just go to the
newsgroup and ask and my "sisters"
they will give me advice I asked for. We share
good times, sad times, and even bad times with
each other... its wonderful.
The secret pals, I love! That makes a bond
between 2 sisters closer.
Actually, I am so happy to be a part of these
wonderful women, I could write a book.
What has made me the happiest is.....
Knowing that I have made others happy by
getting this started. Making other people happy
makes me happy too....
I can't imagine my life without my Cyber
Sisters now...phone calls, cards, notes all
thru snail mail....
I just an thankful Cyber SIsters succeeded so
well...and that so many others enjoy being a
part of it too...
And I love each and every Cyber Sister ..they
are a big part of my life now!

Cyber Sisters has changed my life in
so many positive ways. The one thing I would
mention first, is the friendships I have made.
Not since high school have I had so many
wonderful friends to talk with and joke with.
Each one of you bring something to me that is
different and fun.
The next thing I would like to say cyber
sisters has brought to me is self satisfaction.
I get so much joy out of running the secret
pals program. It feels good to know that so
many of us benefit from this program.
I also have enjoyed writing for the newsletter.
So many ideas and opinions come from the
meetings and it is wonderful to see a finished
product!
Cyber Sisters is great for so many reasons, the
Santa's Angel project helps out so many
families. The Homepage winners make each person
nominated feel so special. There are just too
many things to mention but the biggest thing it
has done for me is reassured me that lasting
friendships can be made even when you have
never met most of ladies!

It is so hard to put in words just
what CyberSisters has done for me...Since I
have joined and become part of the Sisterhood,
I have felt a heartwarming fellowship of
friends that I am proud to call my
Sister...When I was growing up many
moons ago, I always wondered what it would be
like to have a sister..One that I can laugh
with or if need to one that I can cry with...I
feel like that I have that in each of you...You
are my Angel Sisters...Thank you for being
there for me and know that I am here for you...

I really don't know where to begin
when it comes to this wonderful group.. When I
joined the cybersisters.. I was really ready to give up on life.. I live alone and it began to
really get hard for me... I met Lucille about a year before she started the cybersisters and we became email buddies...
She asked me to join and never in my wildest
dreams did I ever think that my life would
change like it did.. I met so many wonderful
people and I have grown to love them all.. I
have had my ups and downs and a lot of health
problems and there has always been someone
there to pull me up.. I am not sure where I
would be today if it wasn't for all the sisters that have said prayers and sent greetings and
just always been there for me.. So you see.. My life has changed so much by just saying I
wanted to join a new group..

I am so proud to be a Cyber Sister.
I have got to know so many wonderful women.
Before I joined I mostly just surf the web. And worked on my first homepage. I had seen the
Cyber Sisters logo on many of the sites I went
into..and wonder what it was about. One day my
daughter told me I should check into to this
group. So finaly I did..it was the best thing I could have done. I never had a sister and now I have so many.
They are the best bunch of ladies on the web.
We laugh together, we cry together, we have fun together. And if one need anything the rest are there to help in what ever it may be. We are
just one big happy family.
And the best thing was when some of the Texas
sister meet last September. We all went to Fort Worth where Terrie lives. There was Terrie,
Betty, Norma, Susan, Tonya and I. Terrie
husband John, Betty husband Mike, and Norma
husband John. (I think they had as much fun as
we did). We had a wonderful week-end..and are
planing on doing it again this year. If you
ever get the chance to meet any of your
sisters..do it.
So if you need a place where you can have a
great time..just check out Cyber Sister..you
will be happy you did.

When I first got this little black
box I knew nothing about it or how it worked. I just saw it advertised and thought I would get one. I turned it on and found the user's ng and frequented that for awhile and saw some place
to learn HTML and some other things. Then I
made a website containing 6 pages, just playing with the webby and to see if it would work. The pages aren't great but it was my first endeavor to do something and I had no help nor did I
know anyone.
One day I saw Cybersisters somewhere so I
checked it out. Well I have been there ever
since and haven't done much else on the webby
other than give the gals a lot of griet.
Cybersisters opened a whole new world of
friends for me and where I live alone it is
just so great to turn this on and have people,
friends and sisters, right at hand.
It has given me a home and a home in which I
feel very welcome. It also has made me a Momma
Nut. LOL
