What has Cyber Sisters done for me?

Back in October of '98 my Dad passed away. I was very depressed and didn't know where to turn. I was to the point where I did not want to get out of bed.

It was the worst time of my life. Something started to happen to me. I had gotten to the point where it scared the living daylights out of me to even think of going outside of my house. I was diagnosed with panic/anxiety disorder.

My husband decided to get me the web to help pass my time away. That was in April of '99. I started by going to game sites and would start playing games early in the morning and would sometimes play till late at night.

One day as I was "surfing" I came across the Cyber Sisters logo and said "What the heck, I'll check it out. I believe that was in late May of '99 and I have been here ever since.

I have made some wonderful friendships in this group. One in particular, has helped me through those bleak days. She has been my angel ever since the day I made a comment about her email.... LOL She broke me out of my shell and has been there with me when I needed someone to talk to.

There has been so many so called "friends" in my life. They seemed to be there when the going was good but as soon as things started to get rocky I could not find hide nor hair of them.

All of my Cyber Sisters have helped me in one way or the other and I am most thankful for that. Just reading the NG every morning puts a smile on my face and a song in my heart. You are all so wonderful. I cannot not express the joy and happiness you have all brought to my life.

Thanks to Cyber Sisters I feel as though I am getting my life back on track. I am now able to go out of the house by myself, and am starting to lead a normal life now.

I am forever grateful to Lucille for having this vision of Cyber Sisters. I Love you all,

I joined cyber sisters in december of 1999 i was out of work on maternity leave and had gotten so bored with my web tv and one night i came across a page with the cyber sister logo and clicked it and thought why not try something different and i was amazed at all the welcomes i got and all the friends i have made over time and even thought i will probably never meet any of them they are such a big part of my life the thing that touched me the most was the baby shower that was given to me i was shocked that here were perfect strangers sending me things through snail mail for my baby and believe me everything i got i truly needed and any time i am down or lonely i know i have friends who will listen to me and laugh with me i am so glad i stumbled on to this wonderful group of ladies

Well To Begin It Was A Time When I Just Lost My Mom.And It Hit Me Pretty Hard.And I Need Something To Keep My Mind Of My Pain Of Losing Mom,So I Found The Discuss Group And Found The Link To Join And That Started It.And I Sure Glad I Did.I Found Some Of The Wonderful Friends,Sisters,Family You Every Want.If You down They There For You.Throw Happy Or Sad Time You Can Turn On The Web And You Find Some One There For you.I got So Many Friend Now It Hard To Count,,And The Secret Pal Boy I Real Enjoy That.I Got so Much Snail mail.My Hubby says it not fair I alway Getting Package Or Card And He Never Get Any.You Know If I Was To Lose My Friend Now I just Don't Know What I Do.Cyber Sister Has Change MY Life For The Better.I also Did The Cyber Sister Bios And The Anniversay Pages,And That Was Great That Lucille Thought That I Could Do It And She Even Love The Pages.but like I Said I Hope I Never Half TO Lose My Friends and Sisters There Family to me,,sisters I love You all....

Where do I start?? I have had so much fun with this group.

I joined and immediately was welcomed in. Everyone was helpful. I started going to the ng's and learned alot about the ladies. They always bring a smile to my day. :))

I have asked for help on learning how to do some things with my webby and have always had a reponse. If someone can't answer they will send you a link to someone that might have the answer.

I have joined in on Secret Pals and had so much fun!! :)) What a neat way to get to know sisters,their likes and dslikes and just what kinds of people they are.

The Xmas in July Party was great. I had so much fun making a page and gifs for my new friend Patti. I have been lucky in meeting and learning from several sisters in my year plus in this group, I look forward to continuing to see the group and my knowledge and friendships grow.

This group of women has opened up so many doors for me and has expanded my horizons! I never dreamed this little black box would ever lead me on this path. I've met so many wonderful ladies here and made some lasting friendships! I'm greatful for all the "teachers" that have helped me out when I get the "bug" to change my email sig (and we're still friends..LOL!)....oh, their patience! We've had some wonderful chat parties to celebrate birthdays, baby showers and just plain "whatever" events! I've also had the wonderful pleasure of meeting some sisters in person...what a terrific time that was! And our Secret Pal program has been soooo much fun. It shows how creative (and sneaky) we all can be!!

I will always be greatful for the day I was looking for "country" stuff on the internet and stumbled on Lucille's homepage and found this group! Thank you ladies for being here and being such a wonderful part of my life!! Luv all of you!!!

Well, I am a Great dummy, I had seen the cute little emblems on email sigs and thought they were so cute.

I clicked on one, one day and thought you had to have a Home Page to join, so I didn't have one at the time, but after I made one, I quickly returned to my Favorites where I had saved the Navigation Page and joined right away and haven't looked back since. I have made so many wonderful friends since I have been here, they are so special to me and I love them all.

I used to just surf, going nowhere, and now, this is the first place I head for in the morning and the last place I go at night. And I am here many times all through the day LOL

These woman are the most caring people on the whole WWW. You would never regret joining. I am so grateful to Lucille for starting this group, I think it was ordained by God.

Well, where do I begin? I joined this group about 1 year go, I had some personal problems, and left for a while. But I am so glad I decided to come back !!

I have met so many WONDERFUL true friends in this group. Real people that have real feelings and can relate to real issues and problems ! With the friendships I have made, came caring and loving sisters. I wouldnt trade the way things are for anything in the world. People that support what you do. Give you credit when its due, and tell you the TRUTH if something needs a little fixin'. Just like a real family.

The interaction with in the group brings smiles to my face every moment of the day. And many laughs...real laughs, from the fun we have. I cant thank you all enough for taking me into your family, and taking your places in my heart. I love you all !! With out you I would be lost !
