Sharon Knapp (as the leader), Richard Zicchino and Carroll Barnes make things happen within this office. Without these dedicated employees, many students would find their extracurricular activities immensely effected.
Through this group, trip requests are taken, drivers selected, field trip tickets generated, buses assigned, and post trip paperwork completed. In many of these requests, the process starts and completes within 48 hours. The Field Trip team does an outstanding job in serving the regularly scheduled transportation needs of GISD, but more importantly they handle with calm urgency the unplanned short turn-around transportation needs of our district.
