The gifts on this page are very special to me.
January 29, 2003, I received a disturbing phone call from my
mother-in-law. She told me my father-in-law has terminal cancer. This all came
about very sudden. The last time I saw her, November 2002, she said everyone was
doing well and they were moving from Abilene to the San Antonia area. My nephew,
who is 8 years old, was diagnosed with Hepatitis C... he was born with Hep. C.
They were relocating so they would be closer to his doctors. After arriving in
San Antonio, my father-in-law became ill. Around this time is when he was diagnosed
with cancer. At this point, Nov. 2002, he was already in stage 3b. He is now in
stage 4... the cancer has spread to his lungs and heart. It has been determined
the cancer was caused by Agent Orange while he served in Vietnam. The doctors
say he has "weeks", not months or even a year to live.
This news just breaks my heart! Please say a prayer for my father-in-law
and my family.
~ Hugs, Annette
A very special Thank You from the bottom of my heart to each of you for

My prayers are with you!
I was so sorry to read about what you are going through during this difficult time in your life! I have been there, and I know that the bad times are easier to go through if you know that somebody is on your side, that somebody really does care. I want you to know that I do care about you, and pray that your sufferring is lessened somewhat by knowing this.
I believe in you and I am pulling for you to triumph over this pain.
Love,
Brisa
