The Bible has been called the most dangerous, deceptive, misleading and treacherous Book in the world. It has been used and abused by almost everyone everywhere. Religious people and non-religious people around the world have used the Bible for their own agendas. They have taken material from it, counterfeited it, used it to “back up” their position, create their creeds and their cults, formulate their scientific theories, justify forms of government, excuse themselves for lying, adultery, fraud, wars, drunkenness, sex perversion, murder and genocide. And this is just a partial list.
There are millions of Christians in the world today who do not know for sure where they will spend eternity because they think “eternal life” is temporary eternal life. They believe you can lose it before you die. And to their credit, there are 100+ verses in the Bible that used to prove just that. The sermons that are preached every Sunday from pulpits across America alone rely on the Bible to prove, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that:
A Christian can lose their salvation
A Christian cannot lose their salvation
Hell is the “grave”
Hell is not the “grave”
You should worship God on Saturday
You should worship God on Sunday
Water baptism is essential for salvation
Water baptism is not essential for salvation
Now what kind of book could produce a mess like that?
You can’t do that using the “sacred scripture” of any other religious group on the planet.
It is awfully strange for a book that professes to be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, isn’t it?
You see, this Book can either lead a man to the truth (John 14:6), the whole truth (John 17:17) and nothing but the truth (John 8:47); or it can lead him off to destruction in at least 50 different ways.
That is because it is a 2-edged sword. Those who stumble at the word (I Pet. 2:8) after being exposed to it (Matthew 13:18-23; Isa. 6:9-10; John 12:37) outnumber the saved sinners better than 100 to 1.
One side of the sword can cauterize wounds while the other side can split your jugular in half.
This is also a book that has been accused countless times of mistake and contradiction. Having seen hundreds of these contradictions straightened out with further study of the scripture, it is always best to give “the Book” the benefit of the doubt. You see, there is always a logical, Scriptural explanation every time for the alleged contradiction, if you could find the right placement for the verses in time and circumstance. But, if you ever get you “times” messed up, then you are in more hot water than you can get out of.
Mistaking verses that deal with the two advents of Christ is a perfect example of how a man can break his spiritual neck in the Book.
The Bible not professes to be the truth about sin, death, righteousness, moral and the afterlife, but it professes to be a historical account of things that took place or will take place in history.
You can accept or reject all the historical material in the Book, but the data always comes to pass exactly as the Bible said.
My opinion and your opinion about the Book doesn’t matter in the least. What it has said, it has said. It is either truth or a lie.
The Book’s batting average so far has been 1000.
It is such an infinite book that the Author can adjust the Book to meet the needs of the reader, in whatever condition his heart and mind are, when he reads the Book.
It doesn’t even matter if you believe what I am saying now. If I’m right, then I will be right whether you believe it or not. The same is true if I am wrong.
Blow it off. Call it someone’s interpretation. You can dump the Book, like China did, like Japan did, like Cambodia did, like Central and South America did, like Spain and Italy did, like Russia and India did, like Aristotle and Plato did, and like Darwin and Einstein did. What are the results? Three thousand years of bloodshed without a letup and three more world wars “on deck” (Rev. 6, 19, 20).
In the Bible there are references to more than 145 military engagements with the number of casualties listed for 10 of them.
The countries involved in killing each other are listed in the book. See Dan. 2, Isa. 38-39, Psalm 83, etc.
There are 8 books in the Bible that are little more than accounts of men killing each other in battle. (See Joshua, Judges, 1&2 Kings, Chronicles and Samuel.)
The Koran doesn’t have 10 (suras) chapters that deal with such matters.
The Book has more than 200.
Obviously, one is a book that deals with actual events while the other is not.
The Book treats humans as abject failures apart from Divine intervention. Every time period in the Book, ends in apostasy.
Since this is so unpopular, there has been invented a “way around it”. Here it is: read the Book until you find something you don’t like, and then reject it and substitute your own words for the ones that were there. Take what you like and toss the rest.
The Book is a beartrap. It is a nuclear bomb. It will blow you to pieces. It even tells us what will happen to every “member nation” of the UN assembly.
Zeph. 3:8 - Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
Zech. 12:2-3 - Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Jer. 30:11 - For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
Zech. 14:2 - For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Psalm 2:2-4 - The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
All of these verses were written more than 2000 years before the League of Nations went under and was replaced by the UN in 1950.
Oh, here’s a way out! Just take the verses “figuratively”! Get some highly-educated intellectual to show you what the prophets were “really” talking about.
To see how God was able to plant this land mine, we have to begin with a “piece of dirt” in 1500 B.C.
This piece of dirt is the deadliest piece of real estate on the entire planet.
It will eventually be the death of more than 200 million sinners in three world wars which will take place after 2001 A.D.
This information cannot be obtained in anyone else’s religious literature found anywhere.
It is only found in one Book. The Book.
This Book, the Bible, deals continually with history.
It says that a literal, visible, political, Jewish Kingdom (with a King) would take place in history.
No religious leaders were consulted on the matter. They can take it or leave it. So can you.
It also says that the peace which all men want and have waited 6 millennia for (Hag. 2:9) will finally come. But when it comes, it won’t be from New York, Washington, Paris, Rome or Moscow. It will come from Jerusalem.
That’s what Jerusalem means, “city of peace”.
This city has featured 27 wars before the four Moslem “Jihads” in the 20th century (1948-1999). Some city of peace, huh?
Look at Psalm 76:3 - There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
Look at Haggai 2:9 - The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
That is two of the biggest lies you ever saw, if you think they were fulfilled at Luke 2:14 (on earth peace, good will toward men).
Were they fulfilled at the 1st Advent of Christ?
Get your timetable right or you are spiritually dead.
The Book said (1400 years before Jesus comes the 1st time) that the Jews would be dispersed without rejecting any Messaih.
It took place in 606 B.C.
The Book said it would take place again.
It did in 135 A.D. until 1948.
Here is the point: The truthfulness of the Bible is not belief or unbelief. It isn’t scientific research or speculation. What it says will take place in history takes place in history.
One of the reasons the Bible is so dangerous is because it is literal history disguised as someone’s religious faith.
WHAT THE BOOK IS - IS AN INFALLIBLE ACCOUNT OF MAN’S BEGINNING AND HIS END, PLUS WHAT HAPPENS IN THE INTERIM WHEN “MAN” IGNORES OR REJECTS HIS CREATOR’S WORDS.
It tells what will take place, why it will take place and how it will take place.
You can accept or reject what the Book says, and it won’t make one bit of difference in history - except yours. What God says will happen, happens.
In the Bible, 7 items are fixed which will determine the destinies of the U.S., Russia, Red China, the EC, and the UN.
All 7 of these items are earthly, material, physical items that have nothing to do with anyone going to heaven or hell.
These 7 items are not even religious subjects, but they will destroy all 188 nations in the UN overnight.
Here are the 7 items that will finish off 187 Gentile nations in the years to come:
One piece of land called “holy”.
One city on that piece of land called “beloved” and “holy”.
One mountain called “Zion”, which was given to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. No one else was ever given one inch of that mountain or city in all of recorded history.
One King will sit on a throne inside that city, and he has to be a JEW. He has to be a Judean Jew from the tribe of Judah. See Dt. 17, Mic. 5, John 4, Gen. 49.
No peace can come to this earth until it comes to that city and God will not allow it to come from that Jewish city until Israel accepts His King instead of their King.
That King is the one spoken of by the “law and the prophets” in the OT.
Since Israel has rejected the “law and the prophets”, they won’t be back in the driver’s seat until Moses (the Law) and Elijah (the Prophets) show up again.
That is 2 advents for Christ, two for Moses and two for Elijah. They will show up again, one being resurrected from the dead and the other having been kept alive for over 2700 years.
What you have just heard is absolutely impossible and entirely incredible to the majority of religious leaders, educational leaders and scientific leaders in all 188 nations of the UN.
God made a book they couldn’t believe, so supernatural blindness was put on them because of their heart condition.
There are 2 advents. You can combine them, confuse them or refuse to recognize them. And when you do, you are nothing but “bear bait” in the bear trap.
The entire book is about a piece of real estate no bigger than the state of Florida.
The whole piece of dirt is laid out in Genesis 15:18-21.
This piece of real estate will not only determine the outcome of man’s history, globally, but it heralds, ahead of time, the total destruction of every political, religious, educational and scientific institution that man has ever devised.
People don’t like to hear that.
The question is, how can you get rid of those verses?
This has been man’s basic problem and it remains so until he attacks this piece of real estate in Palestine. Then he will have a chance to “test” God to see if He spoke the truth or not.
People say, “I don’t believe in judgement after death”. Help yourself. The Bible isn’t concerned about whether you believe it or not; neither is God.
The conspiracy to get rid of that Book is widespread.
For example:
Every map of the Exodus found the back of every Bible in print, by anyone, has the “Jewish Exodus” taking place NORTH of the Red Sea. Pharaoh just went through some marshy ground. Sure, sure!
It’s the history that makes men nervous. If it was just another religious book aimed at “making the world a better place”, it would be as harmless as all the other “religious” books.
Now take a look at Exodus 3:5 - And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
Oh, that word “holy”!
Why would anyone call a place holy that had killed God’s prophets for centuries, cast the Son of God out, and killed Him?
Nevertheless, Moses is told to lead 6 million people out of one land to the “land of Canaan” and take Canaan’s land from him. These commands are in Ex. 34, Dt. 15,19,21,27, and Gen. 15.
For the follow-up, see
Josh. 6:21- And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
Joshua 10:40 - So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded.
Joshua 11:14 - And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
Joshua 5:15 - nd the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Oh, that last verse! Now there are 2 pieces of holy ground!
3,000 get slaughtered on one (Ex. 32:28) and more than 500,000 on the other (Josh. 6-20).
Isn’t that a wonderful way for a religious book to get started?
I can hear ‘em yelling, What about “love” and “blessed are the peacemakers”?
It gets worse.
Now we find out that the angel says that not only is Gilgal holy (Joshua) and Sinai (Moses), but all ground is “holy” if the Ark of the Covenant ever passed over it (2 Chronicles 8:11).
- And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.2 Chronicles 8:11
Do you realize the implications of that verse?
See map 1 and map 2.
The ark goes around Jericho on the West Bank of the Jordan River.
From Pisgah on the East Bank up to the Golan heights, through Bashan and Gilead and then across Jordan to the West Bank, clear throught the land of the Philistines and down into the Gaza Strip. See Dt. 2:31-36; 3:1-6,8-10; 12:18 and 2 Samuel 5.
This ark, constructed at Sinai winds up in the city of the great King - Jerusalem.
Now in case you doubt that God did give the land to Abraham, look at the verses:
- In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.Genesis 15:18-21
Genesis 13:14-17 - And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 16And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.
Genesis 17:8 - And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
Genesis 22:16-18 - And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Genesis 24:7 - The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.
Better get rid of that Book. And those who believe it too!
Here is a book that tells the names of men before they are born. There are 4 of them in the Bible.
Daniel gives details about 4 empires that will arise after he is dead.
There are 48 prophecies in the OT dealing with the earthly life of Christ.
There are over 500 that deal with His 2nd Advent.
In March 14, 2001 the Daily Press, in Newport News, Virginia carried a story about Ali Abed, a middle school teacher with Reservoir Middle School. He submitted a question for the paper’s SOLutions contest. ‘SOL” is an acronym for the Standards of Learning test which each middle school student in the Virginia Public School system must pass in order to attend high school. In the SOLutions contest, teachers were asked to submit their “SOL-style questions” to the newspapers contest. If a teacher’s questions was selected, it was printed in the paper. Students who read the paper and participated in the contest could submit their answer that night by phone or computer.
Ali Abed’s question, selected by the newspaper out of all the questions submitted for March 14, 2001 was: Which nation was not involved in the Korean War?” The possible choices listed by Abed and approved by the Daily News were: North Korea, China, Palestine and the United States.
The answer given in Thursday’s paper was, “Palestine”.
The problem is that this leads 8th graders to believe that Palestine is a nation.
There was no nation of Palestine in 1950 or 1951 during the Korean War. The Jews had been given a small land grant by the UN, and when they went to Palestine to get the land grant, in 1948, they were attacked by 5 Arab Muslim nations.
Palestine was not a “state” at all. The idea is that Arab Muslims had a State in Palestine when the Jews came in. They didn’t. They lied. The Palestinian Authority is not a state now, either. They are a bunch of terrorist groups running around trying to convince everyone that they have some claim to the land. They don’t.
IN 1938, a conference was held at Lake Geneva in France. There, 29 Jewish organizations met with 32 other nations to discuss the problem of getting the Jews out of Germany. Hitler’s intentions for them was very clear by now.
Here is how it came out:
Churchill’s answer was Britain’s 3rd “White Paper” which limited the Jews from returning to Palestine (their own land) to 75,000 over the next 5 years, after that, no more Jews. The remaining 5.9 million+ could stay in Europe and let Hitler deal with them.
Australia - “We are not desirous of importing a racial problem”.
New Zealand - “We are unwilling to lift restrictions”.
Canada, Venezuela & Uruguay - we will take some farmers, no doctors or lawyers.
France - We are past the saturation point.
Peru - no doctors or lawyers.
Holland & Denmark - some can come temporarily.
Argentina - no large scale immigration.
USA - we can only accept 27,300 annually. And them only from Austria or Germany.
God has a plan for His people and His land. And He will bless them that bless Israel and curse them that curse Israel. This is way too short to discuss all the ins and outs, but these are the main points:
That history will come to pass as it is recorded in the Bible.
God has given a land to the Jewish people.
He will restore them to that land.
He will rule the world from that land.
Anyone who opposes Israel opposes God.
The Bible is the final authority not only spiritually, but in history also.
