History

I bought Red during spring beak of 2000 from a trainer near Dallas. He was for sale for $3,500 because the family that had owned him since he was born all got cancer. At that time Red was 7 years old and had done nothing but trail ride with some light dressage training. When i went to try him out there was a crew of roofers re-roofing a house right next to the arena. Red was perfectly fine with all the comotion so we bought him. We showed in local hunter shows for a year or so and got osme ribbons. Then we took him to our first QH show. He didnt place very well, but the judge told me to get in touch w/ some QH trainers. So we did. They were excited about Red and said he would make an awesome jumper. I took him in jumpers for the first time in december of 2000. Then we didnt show again until fall of 2001. He finally got into the jumper grove when i moved from our hunter trainer to a renowned eventing/jumping trainer. We got points just about every time we showed. We even beat the previous world champion a few times. Recently me and my trainer decided it is time for me to move away from the QHs and persue the a ircuit which will eventualy take me to the Olympics. Red, however, is most comfortable jumping between 3 feet and 4 feet. So, we are sadly selling him. I had a tough time at first because he has such a great attitude about everything and is the funnest horse to ride and show and play with. He isnt ever spooky and always tries his best to please me in any way he can.
