majors in astronomy and physics, joined the
USAF (made it to the rank of Major!), graduated
from the University of Arizona in 1983 with
degrees in applied physics, was a theoretical
and experimental physicist at Los Alamos National
Laboratory in New Mexico for 15 years, then came
back to Austin and Central Texas in 2000 to take
a job in computer security with IBM Corporation.
