These words of three
Seem so simple in appearance
Yet within such simplicity
There is a meaning of deep tenderness, affection, and
concern.
How is it that one can say these words to another
Yet not mean what he said?
Are these words to be toyed with
Or is it to be said with significance?
Such simple words are these
Give each of us a fulfillment...
A fulfillment that is defined differently
To different individuals.
What a surprise you gave me,
When you whispered these words
I never thought I would hear them from you
For you hid your feelings so well
You said it with such sincerity and confidence
Though I question myself if it is an illusion.
There are many times I dreamt of this moment
Only finding myself waking up from fantasy
This time you have proven me wrong
Your embrace brought me to reality
I can now say with the same sincerity and confidence
