Deserves more than you think
What better way to show my gratitude,
Than to make this poem for you!
Maturity is a quality you possess
Which shines brightly through
Never think less of yourself
For others can not compare to you
I admire your stamina
A quality possessed by few
Be strong and do remember
That friendship can be renewed
Charming, witty, and bright
What more do you need?
The perfect combination of a friend
A friend like you, indeed!
Heaven sent an angel
An angel to watch over you
In case I am not there to listen
You will have someone to confide to
Endowed with the knowledge of truth
And patience for that matter
You have taught me many new insights
Which I will always treasure
Laughter fills the air
Whenever you are near
Spreading your ray of sunshine
To each and everywhere
Leadership is shown within you
Guiding me in times of trouble
Providing me with confidence
And cheering for me in mind
Everlasting friends
Is what I hope we will be
For who knows what tomorrow might bring
You will always have a friend in me
