Paul Bunyon and Babe

seeing as the others of johnny Appleseed have been found to be real, johnny was found buried in the manner he was said to have been in his story book, he was found on the bend of the river under his apple trees. in fort wayne indiana.

and john Henry was found buried in a mass grave in i think north or south Carolina? maybe Virginia.? in the grave yard for a prison that was called the white house because it was painted white. and the news article about him beating the steam hammer through the tunnel was found i believe in some old goods store up their too. or in a small local museum about the prison? but the point being of this is that if they were found to be true and not just childhood story's.

then why is there not anyone looking for Paul bunyon and babe his blue ox?

now your thinking they can't find a blue ox because that cant be a real animal. there is basis in that if you are a person that thinks in the same box as everyone that believes the earth is flat.

but if your like the rest of us then you know there is also basis in the idea Paul and babe were also real living beings at one time..

here a few years ago there was a story came out of Alaska where they had been hydro mining in the summer because it is faster with that in the short summers. and they found a huge ox buried up there just like he laid down and was sleeping. when they got the dirt off the ox the light hit him and shown him as a blue ox.

so if they found babe where is Paul but wait a minute you say they said the blue was from chemicals that was covering the ox and some had soaked in to his skin before it had petrified?

sure that is what they said. but giving the fact that pink flamingos get their pink color from the food they eat. and are really gray flamingos. then couldn't a gray ox also show blue from eating blue berry's and blue bonnet flowers, black berry's and raspberries mixed in would also add to the coloring of the skin. why even us humans if we eat too many carrots we turn orange.

so the color of babe the blue ox could have been from the food.
and what food do lumberjacks like to eat? why blue berry pancakes and muffins. because they grew all over the place back in the time frame Paul and babe were said to be in the woods cutting trees.

okay so you say now your going to agree on the food being the cause of the color of the ox.
but why would that ox they found be babe? well it was not laying on its back and it was not laying on its side. it was on its curled legs like it lay down to sleep.

but they also found that a mountain lion or bear had killed the ox by biting his nose and suffocating the ox.
oh that's not babe then cause babe was big would not have been caught by a lion or bear?
true babe was a big ox. but there are also big bear's up in Alaska some with a 18 inch paw.
but why was the ox not ate. hmm only one thing could scare off an animal that was attacking an ox and had it on the ground, a man with an ax. a huge man with an ace. which could have been in the woods getting some blue berries when he heard his oxen's call for help and then came running but was too late to save his ox but not to get that lion or bear that killed his ox.

okay then you say I'm telling a logical story here. but you wonder how a man could scare off the lion with just an ax?

lumberjacks carried axes of different sizes for different things and one of those things was for throwing and they are good at that. Paul was said to be the best thrower there was. so he more likely would have used that ax and killed the lion or bear with it.

but he would need a light ax for that you say? sure if he was a small man, but since he was said in most the versions of the songs and story's as a man around 10 feet in height then he was also a strong man and heavy to you and me would have been light to him.

okay the 10 foot part has you laughing. go look up the tallest man in the world today. he is around 9 and a half feet tall i believe and lives in England.
what that is real your asking? yes people do get to be that tall and they are strong the first half of their life but get weaker as they get older and most die fairly young. it is a known disease called giganticism. best known one of them type of humans in the last fifty years was the professional wrestler called Andre the giant. he was tall enough that a full grown long horn steer was only as high as his hip so that would make him kind of a model of Paul bunyon then and if Paul's ox was a slightly larger ox then normal that would make him a big ox.

you ask but wait a minute Andre was not as large as your saying?
true but he was huge for a man and as i said the people with that disease do get large if Paul's family had a history of men in the 6 and a half foot tall range. if he did get that disease then he could have easily been 10 foot plus.
and back then even 6 foot was huge, if you look back in your family roots you too will see most your family's men are under 6 foot in height. that's cause most the time each generation gets a little taller then the last generation.

now you can see there is reason to believe that Paul bunyon and babe the big blue ox were real.

so lets say you agree now Paul and babe could have been living beings at one time.
so where would Paul be buried then? well that might be hard to say since as said people with that disease get brittle bones in the last half of their life. after Paul would have died if he was buried it was by some body that did not know who he was other then a tall man. but his bones would have been busted to small bits in a few hard freezes up there. and back then they did not use box's for that was a waste of wood in lumberjack's way of thinking. so its hard to say where he might be found if at all. so who buried babe the ox. ? why Paul would have seen to that before he left for other places after he chased the lion or bear away he would not want them to come back after he left. so he would have buried his pet.

now i gave you all the particulars of a real idea on Paul and babe, so why is there not anyone checking the story books and songs for clues on where he went, they should also check the native peoples oral history's and see if they have any clues about his where abouts.?
