Gods Love

Scripture- Ephesians 2:4,5 "But God! So rich is He in mercy!"

Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead by our own shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ. He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life which He quickened Him. For it is by grace by His favor and mercy which you did not deserve - that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation)."

Do you live with this hidden fear that God is angry with you? Or that you don't quite measure up to God's expectations of you? I know for most of my Christian life I thought those very same things. In addition to that, I lived with this nagging fear in the back of my mind that I was totally displeasing to God, and unworthy of His love. What a wrong concept of God that is...nothing could be farther from the truth. Paul tells us that God has a wonderfully intense love for us and that He is merciful and kind toward us and that He has imparted to us the very life of Christ. Listen, you can rest assured in the fact that God loves you and He truly cares for you. You need not fear every time you make a mistake that God will turn His back on you, but know this, that we have forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ that he shed.
