2001: A Salvage Yard Odyssey
The dawn of a new millenium has come upon us, where in this era, vintage
iron should be in the hands of vehicle enthusiasts, and private entrepreneurs
that would profit from these timeless classics. Throughout the year,
the usual Pick-A-Part yards that I have spotted derelict A-bodies have
either continued the carnage, or placed a moratorium. Since January
1, the missions will continue...

Before the odyssey (as in 2001) began, this 1972 El Camino has been sent
to the Mile, and looked like if it were an organ donor instead of a project.
For more, look here.

To date, I have came across five (estimated) 1968 Buick Skylarks, and 3
of them were 4-door sedans. The Wallisville Pick-A-Part, which has
been labeled the A-body death penalty capital in Houston during the Millenium
Bug, has placed fewer A-bodies on death row this year, and right next door
to the Skylark (Wallisville Pick-A-Part) was the following:

I have seen over 25+ 1972 Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupes, and from my spy
missions throughout the 7 Houston-area self-serve salvage facilities, Oldsmobile
A-bodies have been photographed more than any other GM A-body that I have
came across. Have I been struck with divine intervention???
As long as Wallisvile isn't the yard, first-time drivers should have these
cars, instead of the striptease.

Not too many Pontiac Tempest sedans are spotted; a majority of them are
either hidden away or common in the Southwest U.S. boneyards. The
last time one of these was in the Wallisville yard, it was in 1999.

This was the last A-body on death row at Wallisville in 2001: a 1970
Chevelle 4-door. I might have came across 6 of these in my lifetime,
and this was the second 4-door that I have seen on death row.
