Northville 2001
In the year of the Millenium Bug, the Wallisville Pick-A-Part was the
death penalty capital for GM A-Bodies, and in the year of a space odyssey,
there were two Pick-A-Parts with an equal ratio of pre-1973 GM A-Bodies
on death row. Northville finished with 4, and its sister yard, Wallisville,
had 5. Due to the City of Houston elections for 2001, I was not able
to have both pages published on time because of previous commitments to
the Ada Edwards campaign for Houston City Council District D and Vote No
on City Prop. 2.

In February 2001, this Pontiac LeMans was once spotted at a Taco Bell off
Highway 290 at Senate Avenue, where a young teen was the previous owner.
After noticing the slot mags laying on the ground, it was the same car
that belonged to a former Taco Bell employee.

5/20/01: Spotting this 1965 El Camino is a nightmare,
since the roof edge might have been lifted with a forklift, or someone
with the strength of a Richard "Jaws" Kiel (the invincible henchman in
two 007 flix of the 1970s). A few rows back, another sighting:

a 1972 Chevelle painted with a shade of red (Victory Red) common to late
1980s Chevrolet pickups. If this was a daily driver, it should have
been used as a stunt vehicle or picture car.

Although Tropical Storm Allison occured a few weeks away (6.11.01), this
1972 Cutlass Supreme might have spent its life in a sand dune, under a
tree, or fished from the bayou.
