Chrysler Corp. (RWDs manufactured thru 1989)
Not too much to list, since early Mopars
used longitudinal torsion bars and rear leaves, and this included the A,
B, and E-bodies. Most of the A, B, and E-bodies are sought after, but 4-door
variants of the B and C/D chassis make good alternatives, and often, used
as police cars. F, J, and M-bodies utilised transverse torsion bars, and
not desirable for rough roads. This does not include the Lee Iacocca-era
FWDs (and rebadged Mitsubishis), since these Pentastars are illegitimate
offspring that do not get "NO RESPECT" and don't deserve to be called Mopars.
The FWD Mopars of 1981-93 vintage deserve to be ostracised, since these
vehicles are a disgrace to traditional Mopar enthusiasts. Don't think
of purchasing a Daytona and converting it to RWD. It's a lot of $$$,
and save your $$$ and purchase a REAL Mopar.
