Terms & Conditions for Use of Our Graphics
Please read these terms of use before downloading
anything from this site. By using one of our sets,
you indicate that you understand and accept our terms
of use and agree to be legally bound by them.
Note: There may be additional terms of use described
on individual linkware sets.)

1. Only the graphics specified as linkware on my site
may be
downloaded, uploaded or stored on another
server.
2.
All the graphics in this webset, including
tiles, images, banners,buttons, bars, and
any other graphics included in the set
are for use ONLY with
this particular set. They
may not be used in
combination with other graphic web sets,
as mix or match pieces to another set,
to make tubes or gift graphics, or for any other
purpose. Graphics may NOT
be altered in any way. This means they
may not be used as pieces to
create your own graphics.
You may
"NOT ":
Resize , crop,
mix & or match with
other sets, etc.
You may NOT Add
your own touch to an image;i.e. changing colors,
putting words on images, colorize,
animating images or adding frames or
borders.
You may not use any of the images within our linkware collection to create other websets, graphics, filters, brushes, tubes, nozzles, fonts or other software plugins.

3. You do not have to use every piece of
the graphics included in the
set. And you do not have
to use the exact page
layout. My zip file will contain
a general use title and a special event title.
But you may not add parts from other sets.
4. Graphic
sets are for personal use
only and may not be used
on commercial sites or
sites that involve
commercial activities.
If you would like a set that
may belong to you
exclusively please visit email me for prices and availability. Some sets are for linkware only
and cannot be purchased.
None of the sets in the Contemporary Artists Gallery may be used on commercial, pay or member-only sites. This is a restriction of the respective artists, so please respect it.
Any set
that is purchased for exclusive use may be
used on commercial sites.

5. If you choose to use any of our linkware graphics you
must use the linking logos for the web designer,
artist, tube designer and poetry
found on each set, together with the correct
referring link on the same page that the graphics
appear , with
a link inserted pointing to
Dereths Designs. This

This is, of course, why it is referred to as 'linkware'.
A text link is acceptable; a page of "credits" is not. Our linkware must be credited on the actual page(s) of use. This is not negotiable.
6. We have no objection to our sets being used on adult content sites, however, our linkware graphics may not be used on any site promoting child abuse, hate, bigotry, racism, animal abuse, pornography and/or illegal activities.
7. The graphics used on this site remain the sole, exclusive and permanent property of the site owner. They may not be reproduced by any method, including screen captures and/or downloads.

8. These
graphics may not be
redistributed, [or 'given
away'] in any form. This
means you may not display
our graphics and then offer
them as downloads from your
site.

9. Under
no circumstances may these
sets be used as stationery in
e-mails.

10. Please upload the images to your own server or web site directory. Do not link directly to the images
on this website. Linking to the images on this site is bandwidth theft and a federal offence.
You
may not use the Dereths
Designs file path when
setting up your web page.
This is called
bandwidth stealing. It means
that you are using our web
server to display the
graphics and they charge us
for that usage. Instead,
download the graphics to
your computer and then
upload them to your own file
directory. In your
source code, use your
file path when inserting
graphic files. A file
path is like
this:

11. Only
fonts that are
"embedded" - or
shown on the graphic image
will be seen as they are
unless the viewer has that
font in their computer font
files. In other words, if
you try to use non-standard
fonts in the written part of
your page, text may not be
seen as such by your general
viewing audience. It
is smart to use standard
fonts such as Arial, Comic
Sans, Helvetica, Verdana,
and Times New Roman for your
text. |
