Rights to the Harry Potter characters, names, likenesses, illustrations and related indicia are neither claimed nor implied by the owners of this webpage. Furthermore, neither this webpage nor its owners are associated with, affiliated with, or funded by Warner Brothers, Scholastic Press, Arthur A. Levine Books, Bloomsbury Publishing, J. K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré, Larry Anderson or David Blaine in any way, nor are we endorsed by any of the aforementioned parties. As such, we have neither the legal rights, the funds, nor the magical powers to build a real Harry Potter theme park or even the illusion of one. However, we would be very pleased if Warner Brothers would honor us by using some of our ideas (which, after all, were inspired by their trademarked characters, names and indicia, etc...) as a source of inspiration for creating the best HP park possible. Perhaps they'd even provide us both with lifetime season's passes and tickets to fly to the park's Grand Opening in appreciation for our hard work, if they do. (We can dream, can't we?) Please note that we are not professionally trained architects, artists or amusement park designers, nor do we claim to be. As such, we used large doses of imagination and approximation while drawing up our maps and creating descriptions of our theme park. The measurements and suggestions we have made shouldn't be taken too literally. Anyone opting to develop an actual HP theme park based on the precise measurements given on our map is on his own. Any problems, errors, or miscalculations in locating features on our Marauder's Map or World of Magic Map should be attributed to the impossibility of accurately mapping the layout of Hogwarts and surrounding region due to the curse that makes that area partially unplottable. And don't forget about those moving staircases. We suspect that some of the towers and classrooms move around, as well. As far as we know, there is no real Harry Potter theme park in existence at this time. The theme park we describe in this web page exists only in cyberspace and in our imaginations. And then again, maybe it has already been built but is only accessible to magic people. Either way, it's completely up to Warner Brothers to decide how, where, when and whether to build one on Muggle soil. |
