Mom bought him a guitar at age 12 and he dropped out of schoolat age 16 to concentrate on his music career.
Played guitar for group called the "The Kids"
Married at age 20 to make up artist Lori Allison but when his music career failed a divorce soon followed.
He is part owner of famous nightclub the Viper Room.
Height: 5"11
He is afraid of clowns.
Now with long time partner Vanessa Paradis and living in France with their two kids, Lily Rose Melody (May 27,1999) and "Jack" John Christopher Depp III (April 9, 2002) And now plays with a band called "P" when he isn't making blockbuster movies.
