Shane passed away on the 5th of January of 2004. More details will be posted as we get them.

Dear Shane,
I love you and I miss you.
But God has smiled down upon you, And said my son it is time to go.
I know you smiled back and gladly rose, knowing you were leaving
behind all your woes. However
I am sure that when u left you knew u were leaving behind a legacy of love
and memories. Baby how I miss
you and will always remember all the love and light you brought into my
life, and will always be thankful for the person I have grown to be just
from knowing you. You made a
footprint in my life a lasting impression a light to always burn bright.
I will remember your smile, your laugh , your eyes, and gladly join
you in heaven when I know the time is right.
Grief has stricken us all, who hold you dear in our hearts the pain
of losing such a bright shining light in our lives. Though the wonderful thing is that even in death you have
brought the best out in all of us by bringing us together to support one
another in dealing with our grief and hurting.
But we will make it through carrying our warm memories of you.
We love you and will never forget your bright shining light, your

BigMama...as many know...i too lost a loved one on the 5th....i didn't know shane..but have heard alot of him....I'm sorry to all those who have to feel what i felt last week....but ur right....he is in heaven....maybe he was their to lead my dad home....so i will pray for those that lost someone dear to their heart...and if anyone needs to talk....u know where to find me.... and as a 6 year old said to me on the 5th of jan.... |

sick joke, cant believe he's gone.dammit shaney i'm gonna miss u terribly

I just want to send my sympathies to shaney's friends and family, he's 1 in a million,always ready with a shoulder to cry on if u needed it , ready to laugh at the daftest of jokes , he's just a really great guy. there darlin, u know that I love u kiddo and u can always reach me when U
need to talk. Shane was a dear friend to me and he will be so
missed by myself and my husband. Shane is in a great, big,
wonderfull, painless heavean and don't u worry.....my dad is there and
will help Shane get adjusted up there.
I personally feel that someone like Shane will have a special place in many hearts for a very long time to come and that he has made a differnce in the lives of many as well. So have no worries sweetie, we will all remember him with a smile. Love ya Kiddo, Divergal |

| Shane will be missed very much by us all. I can't come
up with the words to express my regret at losing him, but I am happy
for him, for now he is in a better place. I know he made it straight
into heaven because he never had anything bad to say about anyone else. He
made chatting a pleasant experience for us all and I'm glad I got to know
him.

| I am so sorry BigMama03 for ur loss. I only knew Shane for a short time on here. We talked a few times in msn he was such a sweet guy and could always put a smile on my face. But, to lose someone so young and caring is so unfair we are not suppose to question why ... but, that sometimes is so hard not to do. We do have the comfort and ease in knowing that Shane is not in any more pain he is in a far better place right now. Never the less he will be missed by all his chat friends. Stephy27Ky |

| I am truly saddened by the new of Shane's passing. I
knew him in and chatted with him frequently, it is definately a big loss.
If anyone knows his family memebers please tell them I am keeping them in
my prayers, and will enjoy the memories of the chats I had with Shane.

My condolences, prayers, and hugZ go to all those that have been touched by Shane. I haven't been in this room for very long, but from what I have seen and heard, the people are wonderful and it makes perfect sense to me that Shane would be wonderful as well. Sounds to me like he had a soul that was warm and compassionate. He was a rich man, very rich. Shane always made me laugh. I just feel bad that I never even knew he was ill and I wish I could have spoken to him more. I know he is in a better place now and all his pain is gone. I send my love and prayers to all his friends and family.

| I cannot express just how much in shock I am right now.
It explains why I haven't heard from him in awhile but I thought that he
may have been busy like I have been.
I'm truly saddened by his death. He had drawn a picture of me that he wanted to send not too long ago and I haven't heard from him since. Now, I know why. Does anyone know what happened to him? I didn't even know that he was sick. He was a great guy with a sense of humor similiar to my own and was always there when you needed him to be. He always put a smile on my face and was full of mischief. Shane was truly one of a kind and a great guy. My condolences go out to all of his family and friends and those whose hearts he touched. |

close. But always know that when the sun shines, you see a rainbow,

| I have been surfing through the enormous volume of Friendly
Flirts messages tonight, and I wanted this to be my first post to the
gang. I am very new to the group, having been a member of Talk City for
just a little under a week. In that short time, everyone has really
welcomed me in with open arms and made me feel like a member of a family.
This is the best chat room that I have ever been in, and believe me when I
tell you that I have a LOT of experience with chat rooms. I did not know
Shane, but to see such a group of wonderful people showing such an
outpouring of emotion, I can tell that he must have been a very special
guy. It brought a tear to my eye as I was reading all the messages of
sorrow. I would like to take this opportunity to express my condolences to
everyone who knew Shane. I can only hope to earn half the love you all had
for him.
