Budgie Kidney Stew
2 1/2 - 3 cups cooked kidneys, chopped
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup oil or bacon grease
3 tblsp flour
2 cups water
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup peas drained
Melt grease and add flour. Stir in water. Cook until thick. Stir in
remaining ingredients. May be frozen in patties on a cookie sheet and
stored
in freezer bags. when feeding to bird use only a small amount. Feed in
morning. Remove uneaten food in a few hours.
