Mrs Tina Jezek as 2008 CCSR Chairman


Tina attended her first retreat during 2003 and joined our staff for the 2004 and 2005 retreats. She became Co-Director of the 2006 and 2007 Cub Scout Retreat, took the reins from Jeremy Stephens as Chairman for our 2008 Retreat and will return as Retreat Director for 2009. Tina brings a wealth of experience after having served 11 years as Den Leader, recently serving as Webelos Leader and is currently serving as Cubmaster. She also serves as Religious Award Coordinator for the Pack and a resource for parents guiding their sons through the religious awards workbooks. She also spends time as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 140 in Denton, Tx. She is proud that all 4 sons have achieved and continue to work on their religious emblems along the Scouting trail. The Diocesan Catholic Committee is very proud to welcome her vast experience to bring your scouts a spiritually enriching program. For more information, please contact

Jeremy Stephens - Event Advisor

Jeremy attended his first retreat during 2003, stepped forward as Chairman and is now an Advisor to help ensure the continuity of our Cub Retreat Program. As Chairman of the 2005 and 2006 Cub Retreat, he brought new energy, improvements and enthusiasm that increased our attendance both years. Jeremy currently serves as the Religious Awards Coordinator for Tonkawa District, has worked as Assistant Den Leader, and is now Cubmaster of Pack 233. For his volunteer service, Jeremy received the 3rd Duty to God Award for Tonkawa District. We are very pleased to have him provide his advice as a very important part of our Scouting religious programs during the 2007 through 2009 program years.  

Jay Krail - Program Director Advisor

Jay has a wealth of experience as he authored and conducted the first 5 years of our Catholic Cub Scout Retreat from 1998-2002 as Program Director. Jay is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Order, Tonkawa District Duty to God Awardee, Bronze Pelican and St George Awardee. He has been active in the Catholic Comm for the Diocese of New Orleans and at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. While serving in Los Angeles, he authored and directed 2 retreat programs for Boy Scouts of the Los Angeles Area.

Ms Fran Zaccaria - Registration Chairman

Once you get to know Fran, its hard not to notice her dedication and commitment to Baden Powells dream. She has held a number of district positions in both Trailblazer and Tonkawa Districts, held Troop Comm Chairman in both Troop 32 and 37, enjoyed her son achieving Eagle Scout, and held the reins of Chairman for the Catholic Cub Scout Retreat (2001/2002). During 1998, she assisted with the Inaugural Catholic Cub Scout Retreat. Since that time, she has been integral to this program in the form of Registration Chairman (1999/2000), Facilitator (2003) and Chairman of the event (2001/2002). She is now on her 19th year as a volunteer who is also currently as Assistant District Commissioner for the Topsonah district. Her volunteer work has been recognized through the Tonkawa District Duty to God Award and through the Diocese of Ft Worth Bronze Pelican Award. We welcome Fran as the Registration Chairman for 2008 - 2009 ... and she promises to have a surprise or two for the Cub Scouts.



Ms Patty Myers - Re-Enactment Chairman

Patty is a former Girl Scout Cadette who was active in Pack 127 before her son bridged into Scouting. Since 1998, she has been a great resource for marketing ideas, program ideas, and has been a tremendous help each year when we try to inspire our scouts with a historical re-enactment. Outside of Scouting, she has helped with the founding of Holy Rosary Catholic School in South Arlington, was Director of Development for HRCS, and the school's Development Liaison for the Diocese of Ft Worth. She has helped as a religious education teacher, Vacation Bible School, Eucharistic Minister and is a sponsor couple for St Vincent De Paul's marriage preparation program. She is currently Executive Director of Children's Scholarship Fund in Ft Worth which aids economically disadvantaged children attain a private elementary education. We congratulate Patty as a 2004 Bronze Pelican Award and 2008 St George Awardee.

Various Committee Staff

The Catholic Committee has Boy Scout adult leadership which supports the CCSR by cooking all meals, conducting the Living Rosary, Star Gazing and leading the history hike.
