Tandy bounced into my life at a time when I was grieving over the loss of my beloved Nikki. Tanda was such a special dog, she soon had aquired my love and appreciation. She filled the empty space in my life.
She loved to run and could outrun any bird dog on the dog track. She would jump and turn around in the air and never slow down She could jump higher than the chain link fence, but never realized that would be a way out for her.
She wanted to become a mother. She carried an old rubber cheese burger around and slept with it. She was so protective of her cheese burger until we adopted "Little Bit". She had a real Baby to care for then and she did just that until she died.
When I came home from work I would enter the house through the studio at the rear of the house. There would be Tanda with a big smile waiting to greet me. When she smiled all of her front teeth showed and her tail would wag so hard you had to be careful and stay away from it.
Even though she was a good sized dog she still liked to be a "lap dog". Most time there was more dog than lap, but she didn't care as long as he had your undivided attention. Her greatest feat was when she sang for her supper. We would hold a goody up for her and tell her to sing. She would hold her head up and sing for us.
She brought lots of love devotion and happiness where ever she was.
Bye
Rest in Peace
