Any Humiliation
Any Humiliation

An eyebrow raised, heads turned
In my head, within my brain
Throughout all of these years I have learned
That every worry and each vein
That as they flowed, they were in vain
My aspirations they run these arteries
The nerves have died and deadened
I'm paranoid, to have been
It gets its start with me
The faint, forced walks in each crisp morning
Made up with my dancing, beating the sky, storming
to hide my face, embarassment is my mechanism
Having a heart that thuds for every word
it must be enough to put a damper on plans
to be sufficient
to put a dent in your day
