Sacred Spot
Sacred Spot

Buried, carried up the hill
Stumbled down like Jack and Jill
Dropped my body, watched it roll
Dirt and branches take their toll
Hurry down there, catch me fast
Not long now, a shadow cast

The stone is still at the top of that hill
try again, it is your will
Am I heavy? Doth I fall again?
How does it feel to twice begin?
Before the sunset, I fall still
If you can make it up that hill
Carry me up, it is your will

Open your eyes and crawl into the skies
Whisper the chant with calls and cries
Scream at the sun
Until the hour is done
Far after your throat runs raw
And freast on the wind as it draws from you
grey preys in the heavens
they pray on elevens
the lords crash in anger
of their children in danger
blink and breathe life into the air
Give each temple it's proper heir
trail and travel in a circle of dust
Stomp and dance for the gust
rays of rain tear down in request
find love in the storm that you have been blessed
