Sonia's lover and Dracula's half-vampire son, born from the loins of a mortal woman. Alucard will test Sonia's resolve before he will allow her to continue onward on her quest to destroy his father. He attacks with a dashing sword slash, double fireballs, and will also transform into a bat, and back, to rapidly cover the screen's length. |

A fearsome knight that suddenly dashes forward with its blade, cutting a swath through any foes that stand in its' way. The shield will block fireballs from Sonia's fully powered-up whip if you attack the armor from the front (strike from behind instead, or crouch and aim for its' unprotected feet). This is the strongest lesser enemy--don't underestimate it. |

Motion-sensitive stumps, growing out of the walls, that open to fire off barbs in one of eight possible directions (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, or NW). They try to target Sonia's current position when they strike. The needles can be destroyed with the whip. |

A terrible dragon slain by Dracula and then reanimated as a dracolich to serve him. The beast vomits up a barrage of fireballs as its neck snakes upwards and downwards. When annoyed, the massive undead reptile can also perform a short hop, which causes three bricks to rain down from the crumbling mortar above. |

Dracula's close associate and reaper of souls. Death bounds back-and-forth in his chamber, sometimes pausing to savagely swipe with his scythe, which causes a smaller, autonomous sickle to start bouncing throughout the room. These smaller blades can be destroyed. |

The dark lord of the castle is your final opponent. In his first, humanoid form, Dracula will warp about his throne room, stopping only to lift his cape/wing and spray a wave of five energy orbs towards Sonia's current location.
Dracula's second, true form is that of a titanic, bat-like creature, composed of ectoplasm--the writhing faces of the many souls the vampire lord has claimed over the years can be clearly seen, trapped inside his unnatural flesh. The skeletal, horned head will teleport around the room, pausing at each stop to unleash multiple energy orbs which radiate outwards in a circle formation. Only the head can be damaged, and take care that Sonia doesn't fall, or get knocked, into one of the two holes in the floor and instantly die. |
