Her moniker is an obvious play on the name of the Greek goddess of love (Afro + Aphrodite = Afrodite). In order to use her, you first need to complete El Suave's Tour Mode to unlock Vinny, and then finish Vinny's Tour Mode to gain access to Afrodite (or, if you're terrible at the game like I am, you can just use the "Cut To The Chase" cheat code to make all the bonus content immediately available.) Afrodite is a character for players that are aggressive on the court, as her maxed-out stats lean towards speed and power at the expense of precision and stamina. My action figure is based on one of the variations of Afrodite's second outfit, specifically the psychedelic short dress (top/bottom #5) and white boots (shoes #5). </p> <br> <br> <table align=center border=5 cellpadding=3 bordercolor=413008 width=95%> <tr> <td colspan=7 bgcolor=black> <center><font size=6><b>Afrodite's Attributes</b></font></center> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor=17531d width=10%> <font color=17531d>1</font> </td> <td bgcolor=17531d width=15%> <center><font size=4><b>Serve</b></font></center> </td> <td bgcolor=17531d width=15%> <center><font size=4><b>Accuracy</b></font></center> </td> <td bgcolor=17531d width=15%> <center><font size=4><b>Power</b></font></center> </td> <td bgcolor=17531d width=15%> <center><font size=4><b>Speed</b></font></center> </td> <td bgcolor=17531d width=15%> <center><font size=4><b>Control</b></font></center> </td> <td bgcolor=17531d width=15%> <center><font size=4><b>Endurance</b></font></center> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor=white> <center><font size=4 color=black><b>Base</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>53</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>45</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>55</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>50</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>45</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>52</b></font></center> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor=white> <center><font size=4 color=black><font size=4><b>Maximum</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>80</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>80</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>90</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>100</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>70</b></font></center> </td> <td> <center><font size=6><b>80</b></font></center> </td> </tr> </table> <br> <br> <br> <p align=center><b><font size=+1 color=gold>Materials:</font></b> <br> Lined white notebook paper, newsprint, white glue,<br>wire twist ties, acrylic paint, colored pencil, and ink.</p></p> <p align=center><b><font size=+1 color=gold>Dimensions*:</b></font> <br> 1.2 cm (0.5") x 3.9 cm (1.5") <i> [widest point x highest point]</i> <br> <i>* The numbers given assume a neutral standing pose; the values<br>will vary depending on how the figure's joints are positioned.</i></p> <p align=center><b><font size=+1 color=gold>Articulation:</b></font> <br> 16 Points: Neck, shoulders x 2, elbows x 4, waist, hips x 2, knees x 4, and ankles x 2.</p> <p align=center><b><font size=+1 color=gold>Time:</font></b> <br> One day: July 18, 2013.</p> <hr width=650 size=3 color=gold> <p align=center><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/kramwartap/OT_afrodite_zpsad0509de.jpg~original" border=3."></p> <p align=center><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/kramwartap/OT_afrodite_fab_zpsb48f50b0.jpg~original" border=3."></p> Above is a photo of my Afrodite figure midway through the assembly and painting processes. In this sub-menu, you can alter various aspects of a character's appearance. This is the look I chose to base my figure on, although I did a pretty terrible job of replicating the pattern on her dress (maybe that's why Afrodite looks so pissed in the lower photo).</p> </center> <hr width=650 size=3 color=gold> <br> <center><font size=+1 color=gold><b>REFERENCES:</b><br></font></center> <br> <li>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="http://www.gamefaqs.com">GameFAQs.com</a> <i>Outlaw Tennis</i> cheats. </li> <br> <li>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="http://www.google.com">Google</a> <i>Outlaw Tennis</i> Afrodite image search.</li> <br> <li>&nbsp;&nbsp;<i>Outlaw Tennis</i> Sony Playstation 2 video game and instruction manual. </li> <br> <br> <br> <p align=center><a href="misc_videogame_artwork.html"><font size="5">&laquo; Return To My Miscellaneous Video Game Gallery Index Page</a></font> <br> <br> <br> <font size="2"><i>This is a nonprofit web site. <br> <br> Any and all copyrighted imagery, terminology, etc., depicted on this page belongs to its respective holders/owners, namely Hypnotix, Inc. and Global Star Software. <br> <br> The repeating background graphic is the grinning tennis ball mascot from the game. <br> <br> The midi music playing is the "Slam Shuffle" theme from Square-Enix's Final Fantasy 6.</i></p> </td> </tr> </table> </body> </html>
