Invertebrates that can be randomly encountered at the Lanar Island and Blairsurpass Plains Qu's Marshes in Final Fantasy IX. While normally an aquatic species, Anemones often emerge from the depths to hunt the shorelines for food. Toxins in their mucus can affect the nervous systems of other living creatures, causing them to enter a Berserk state. Anemones can invoke the power of their aqueous home via Water and Blizzara magic spells. These organisms take heavy damage from thunder-based attacks, as their bodies have a high liquid and electolyte content, but they are relatively resistant to water elemental forces, to which, being aquatic, they obviously have an affinity. Anemones are immune to Confuse and Berserk status effects. Quina can learn "Bad Breath" by having an Anemone for a snack. Materials:
