Dryad

Magical, half-nymph, half-tree beings that can be found growing within the Underground Reservoir and Forbidden Area in Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. Dryads dislike humans because of their relentless decimation of forests and disregard for the welfare of other living things. To a Dryad, every blade of grass, every leaf, and every stem is precious beyond measure and any harm done to them is harm done to her. Dryads attack by generating seeds and flinging them upon their enemies. These projectiles are enveloped in a sticky adhesive and the seeds begin to sprout on contact, leeching life from the victim in the process. Because a large part of a Dryad's body is composed of wood, they are particularly susceptible to fire-based attacks.

When a Dryad is slain, she may leave behind a Mystletain sword or a Persimmon fruit. The slayer may also find the Dryad's soul after her demise, which, when absorbed, will allow the finder to use the seed attack described above.

Newsprint, paper toweling, white glue, hot glue, and paint.
