Dobkeratops
(Also known as Doppelganger, Gladiator, and Krell)

A biomechanical abomination that guards the gateway to the Bydo dimension. Dobkeratops attempts to destroy unwary space pilots by whipping about its long, undulating tail and by spewing forth streams of parasitic larvae from its smaller, chest-embedded head. My design is based on the Dobkeratops incarnation that served as the boss of the first level of the original R-type game (Dobkeratops turns up in other R-type games in various forms).

Materials:
Cardboard, white paper, paper toweling, white glue, hot glue, wire twist ties, beads, toothpicks, glow-in-the-dark wax crayon, ink, markers, and paint.

Dimensions:
20.5 cm/8.1 in. x 18.0 cm/7.1 in. (highest point x widest point)

Articulation:
The optical nerves connecting the four eyeballs to the body are all bendable.

Time:
Unknown; this figure's creation occured before I started keeping thorough records of my work (which means it was made sometime prior to May 30, 2004).
