Scratch

A mutant cat burglar that appears as a boss character in the 1993 Gameboy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue video game. This criminal feline will have to be defeated twice during the course of this adventure, once, near the beginning, to win the first of five jail cell keys, and then again, near the end of the game, in a "boss rush" prior to reaching Cyber Shredder. In between hopping about and/or charging across the screen, Scratch will attack the Turtles with swipes from his deadly claws and crushing blows from his ball-and-chain.

Newsprint, tissue paper, white glue, hot glue, wire twist ties, string, ink, and acrylic paint.

Articulation:
Thirty-seven points total:  Neck (2), shoulders(2), elbows (4), wrists (2), waist, tail (15), hips (2), knee (2), hock (2), fetlock (2), and ankles (3). Additionally, all of the links in the chain can move freely.

For comparison purposes, below are several images of Scratch. The first is a photo of the actual Playmates 1993 Scratch action figure (which is worth quite a bit of money, especially if you have it unopened, mint-on-card). The remaining three are images that I extracted from the TMNT III: Radical Rescue Gameboy video game. I colored the last picture to approximate what the Playmates figure looks like.
