A disturbing thing that resembles an undulating human trapped in a straightjacket made of glistening skin. Lying figures can be encountered in many locations throughout Silent Hill and are arguably the most numerous of its inhuman inhabitants. The creatures attack with physical blows or by emitting a cloud of harmful spores from flaps in their chests. Although slow moving when upright, they can scramble across the ground, like a snake, at surprising speeds when prone.

Cardboard, white paper, wire twist ties, dirt, white glue, hot glue, and paint.

Both hips.

Unknown; this figure's creation occured before I started keeping thorough records of my work (which means it was made sometime prior to May 30, 2004).
