This is a drawing of a transgender woman I know, from one of the online message boards that I belong to, that goes by the name of Sylvie. She saw and liked some of the recent illustrations that I did, of the mystery girl I used to go to school with, and asked me if I'd do a portrait of her too, so, I figured, why not? This was done in No. 2 pencil, ink, and permanent marker.
To be honest, I wasn't sure that I did that great a job of capturing her likeness, but Sylvie told me that she really liked it and that seeing my illustration gave her an emotional boost, so, if she's happy with what I created, then, that's ultimately all that really matters.
