Importance of the Church

The Church is the most important institution on this earth. It is not man designed. Its purpose is far beyond man.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

It is the Church that Christ bought with his own blood. It is the Church that will be lifted up to the father in heaven. There is nothing else, on this earth, that will be lifted up to heaven.

1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

God instituted the family. The Church is the only other unit that he instituted and sanctified it as his work.
