About the Film
Russian Ark is remarkable for both the technological feat of cinematography as well as the historical scope of the story. Filmed in a single 90-minute shot, the film takes us through the Hermitage Museum, which meant that the film had to be shot in a single day to avoid closing the museum for any longer. Please see the following links, as well as the Related Links page, for more information about this film.
