| Danny; clumsy ghost boy, loyal pal, and ultimately good guy. After his parents invention gave him ghost powers, this fourteen year old high school student's life became more like something out of a comic book, fighting villians, keeping his real identity secret, hiding his powers from his family and classmates, you'd think hed been bitten by a radioactive spider or something. Through it all he manages to stay somewhat grounded... even if he is floating ten feet off the ground. | ||

Ghost Sense Alerts Danny if a ghost is nearby. His breath will suddenly turn into a stream of vapor that glows bright blue. Usually it will flow in the direction of the ghost. He has had this ability since he was given his powers. When human, it is usually his cue to switch to ghost mode. |

Paranormal Strength Somehow or another Danny acquired super strength when he became half-ghost. Not only can he carry both Sam and Tuck over his shoulders without difficulty, he can also grab a giant ghost dragon by the tail and fling her halfway to kingdom come. He can only use this power while in ghost mode. He has been able to use this ability since he became gifted with ghost powers. |

Intangibility Allows Danny to pass (or "phase") through solid objects, such as walls and ceilings. He can also cause other objects to become intangible by touching them with his hands. He often has a hard time controlling this power, especially when nervous or excited. He has known how to use this ability since he first acquired ghost powers. |

Invisibility Often, Danny needs to get around without being noticed, lest he be exposed for the half-ghost hybrid he is. Even while invisible, he can still be spotted by more powerful ghosts. He has known how to become invisible since he became half-ghost, although he sometimes has difficulty controlling this ability. |

Flight Allows Danny to move through the air without physical inhibition. He has known how to fly since he got his ghost powers. |

Spectral Trail Danny's lower body will revert into a trail of intangible matter. He uses this ability most often to allow himself to move faster through the air. He has known how to do this since he first learned how to fly. |

Spectral Body Split Danny can force his body to split in half along the midsection, the two halves remaining connected with a trail of spectral matter. He uses this ability mostly to dodge oncoming attacks. He first learned how to use this ability in the episode Mystery Meat, when he attempted to dodge an assault of possessed shish-kebobs. |

Spectral Body Ring Same as the Spectral Body Split except that the trail of ghost matter that ties his body halves together forms a ring. He first displayed use of this ability in Life Lessons to dodge a laser blast from Valerie, it is not known if he was able to perform it before or not. |

Overshadowing Danny has the ability to take over another person's body just through going intangible and walking into it. He has used this ability for purposes ranging from controlling his father in order to keep himself out of trouble, to getting back at bullies by making them walk straight-on into lockers. He first learned how to use this ability in Parental Bonding, when he reached up to push Dash and accidentally entered his body instead. |

Ectoplasmic Energy Blasts Allows Danny to fire bolts of ghost energy from his hands. More than once he has had to use this ability to end another ghost's control over a human. He first learned how to use this ability in the episode What You Want, when he tried to defend himself against Desiree. |

Ectoplasmic Shield Danny uses his powers to create a shield of spectral energy around himself, deflecting enemy attacks temporarily. He first used this ability in the episode Bitter Reunions, possibly from watching the more powerful ghost-human Vlad Plasmius use it to defend himself against Danny's energy-blast assault. |

Aural Blast Danny calls forth a massive amount of spectral energy, sending out a wave of white light that repels any nearby enemy ghosts, sending them flying away from him. He first used this ability in My Brother's Keeper, forcing Spectra to release her grip on him. |

Planar Walk Danny can stand on, as well as walk along vertical surfaces (such as walls) as though he were held against them by gravity. He first displayed use of this ability in Teacher of the Year. |

Reflect Shield Performing a gesture with his hands, he is able to create a temporary planar shield with the ability to reflect an energy attack back on its user. He first used this ability in Teacher of the Year. |

Aural Charge Not exactly sure if this can be classified as an ability. Holding back the Fright Knight's sword with his hands, he was able to garner enough strength in order to fling the Knight over his shoulder. As he prepared to throw the Knight, his aura started glowing brighter. |

Ghost Stinger Danny has the ability to transmute his own ghost energy along a path used by another ghost's energy. Grabbing the cords of a ghost tazer in Public Enemies, he cracked them like a whip, sending his own energy pattern along the cords, merging them together into a single band of energy that ended up zapping an enemy ghost tangled up at the other end. |

Planar Slide Allows Danny to zip along a surface in one direction without moving his legs. He saw a possessed Paulina perform this ability in Public Enemies; he first used this ability in Lucky in Love. |

Ghostly Wail An ability which Danny was meant to learn ten years into the future, but like most of his abilities, was picked up from watching it being performed, in this case, by his future self. This sepulchral shockwave is extremely devastating, but using it will cause Danny to run out of energy completely and revert back to human mode. |
