1994 Anglo-Arabian Stallion

This ten-year-old stallion was bought from a trail-riding farm. They couldn’t use Bassil because be kept getting board and would bolt after twenty minutes of pacing on the trails. So this half Arabian half Quarter horse was brought here. When he was first came to Freedom Acers he bit a hole in the fence because he had nothing else to do and started running around the yard. With the students panicking someone had brought out a mare so that he would follow her inside. After that incident he lives in a metal piping fence so that he can no longer chew his way out. With this abundance of energy he has he is lunged for an hour to an hour and a half then taken for runs along the many hay fields that lay beside the farm. Once he is somewhat tired they play games to teach him his basic skills since he gets board very easily.
Other than you having to keep an eye on Bassil at all times he is such a fun horse to be around. Especially when it comes to game day where all the students try to beat there instructors at multiple games over a two-day camp out. It is almost a fight between the instructors on who’s going to use this beautiful animal because he is one of the best.
