1994 Quarter Horse Stallion

This big old pretty stallion was bought at a cattle auction. Jess’ friend Milo had noticed Red standing in a stall beside cattle with an auction number on his hip when he was looking to buy some more cattle. Paying $350.00 for him Red was a great deal. Once bought, they had to clean up about five years worth of neglect on him. After cutting the hair and feet he started to look like a very fine horse so they tried to saddle him. He was amazing! Side passing down the barn, role backs and even spinning in the fresh dirt, he knew how to do it all. That’s when they tried to think of a reason of why this horse was in such bad shape when they got him and why he was sold in the first place. But alone to that he is a great horse and is currently working at both Milo’s Ranch and Freedom Acers as a cattle horse.
