1995 Warmblood Stallion
Victory is a buckskin Warmblood stallion that is good at both dressage and show jumping. He was taken from his owner because he had no meat on his bones and was growing very weak. He was seized with ten other horses and was taken to a sale to pay off the fine that the owner received. At one time Victory was a great stallion but in such horrific shape now that it was hard to know what was ahead of him. Kyle had gone to the sale where he saw all of these horses for sale. He bought three of them and brought them back in hope that they would be able to help them.
One was Victory and the other two were both mares, one a full sister to Victory and another was a Smokey black mare. It wasn't very long before the Smokey black mare died and the last two weren’t looking good. Victory kept getting worse because he didn’t want to eat any food or do anything other than stand in the corner. At this time they had his sister living in a separate stall so they decided to split Victory’s stallion into two small ones with some portable panels in the center. On one half was Victory and on the other half they put Spice, his sister. Spice happily ate from her buckets and gave Victory a bit of hunger.
Soon Victory started eating all the food he got and gained a little weight. A couple months later he was gelded so that he could continue to stay at the ranch. Since the ranch already has to many stallions they either have to sell some or only get geldings. So Victory now goes outside to the pastures for the days but still brought in for the night, becoming a good part of the family.
