~~Diago!~~

This is a stallion that actually was trained as a younger horse but a moose had run through his pasture fence. Now most people don’t know that (most) moose do not jump fences they just plough straight through, which isn’t good for anyone that has livestock. So when this happened most of the herd escaped to the river hills but one by one the owner caught them and brought them home. Well Diago had wandered off away from the herd when this was happening and by the time he went back they were all gone, leaving him all alone. This wasn’t so bad; he just went around the countryside for about a month until he ran into a buckskin mare named Sugar Blaze.

They were both caught and brought into a farm where Diago was finished training and Sugar was to be a broodmare. To shorten that up they made the most trouble possible so that they could be sold and that’s what happened. Brought to Freedom Acers and Sugar got pregnant about a year later. Though it wasn’t all good since Sugar and Diago pretty much broke up and with the foal coming they still stayed somewhat together.

Now that the foal is born, Sugar and Diago got back together purely for the foal and they are starting to get along for the most part. The biggest thing is that Sugar is very high-spirited while Diago is just bull headed sometimes and the mix of them together doesn’t always work out that well. Never the less Diago has turned into one of the best cattle horses that Freedom Acers has to offer.
