Inuyasha

Kagome Higurashi is your average teenage girl until her 15th birthday when she falls through the magical well behind her house and ends up in Feudal Japan. There, she finds Inuyasha, a 1/2 dog demon, who had been pinned to a tree by an arrow for 50 years. Kagome frees Inuyasha so he can fight a centipede demon who was after Kagome for the Shikon Jewel, a very powerful jewel that can grant great power to whoever holds it, which Kagome was unknowingly carrying. Though the jewel was safe momentarily, it was stolen by a crow demon. In an attempt to get the jewel back, Kagome shot an arrow, and accidentally shattered the jewel to pieces. Since she feels responsible, and since Inuyasha wants the jewel to become a full demon, they join forces and set out on a journey to find the Shikon Jewel shards, and meet many friends and enemies along the way.

Name: Sango Age: 16 Weapon: sword, Hiraikotsu (bone boomerang)
	Name: Sesshoumaru Age: N/A, thought to be around 70, some evidence suggests a couple hundred. Weapon: Tokijin, Tenseiga, light whip, claws
Name: Shippo Age: 8 (or so) Weapon: Fox magic
	Name: Miroku Age: 18 Weapon: Scrolls, staff, Wind Tunnel

Other important but not main characters:
Kaede: Kikyo's younger sister who is still alive and is old now, and gives guidance and shelter to the Inuyasha gang.
Kouga: Leader of the wolf demon tribe who is madly in love with Kagome.
Kagura: Detachment of Naraku. She does not like Naraku and occasionally
helps Inuyasha out so maybe she can be free of Naraku. Kanna: Another detachment of Naraku, who appears to obey him.
Kohaku: Sango's little brother who died but was brought back to life by Naraku to be used as a puppet.
Jaken: Sesshoumaru's servant.
Myoga: Inuyasha's cowardly servant.
Rin: Little girl who follows Sesshoumaru and caused him to use his Tenseiga for the first time.
Onigumo: The thief who fell in love with Kikyo, caused Kikyo to die, and turned into Naraku.
