Stephanie: It was wonderful, their office. [It is] so different. You walk in and it's like an anime world. Haa! I loved it! All the people from IVE are wonderful too. Very passionate about their work.

Sydney B: How did you get past the language barrier, I assume there was one?

Stephanie: Um, kinda, I mean I know some Japanese, but a lot of them spoke English. =)

Sydney B: Did you meet any of the I've Sound singers?

Stephanie: Not yet but I am planning to meet KOTOKO, and am also performing at the beginning and end of AX Idol. Don't tell anyone, 'k? =)

Sydney B: I cannot be at Anime Expo ...I will cheer you on! =) Do you accept fan mail?

Stephanie: Yes. How did you hear about me?

Sydney B: News travels fast. I believe someone mentioned that a CD was coming out with the new American I've Sound singer, and I tried to look you up in the Japanese sites, but did not see anything.

Stephanie: Yeah, I am very new to the scene.

Sydney B: Ah. Back to the fanmail thing, what is your fan mail address? (I want to write to you!)

Stephanie: Hmm, I don't have one yet. I am guessing you can write to me at Geneon headquarters. (The address is at the bottom of this interview.) Once my CD comes out, I will give you the info.

Sydney B: Who is your favorite I've Sound member? Favorite song?

Stephanie: I love all of IVE'S artists. They all got great talent. One of my favorite songs is from Kotoko, Wing my way.

Sydney B: How did you first learn about I've Sound? About the competition, was it scary?

Stephanie: The singing competition was held at Anime Expo, and I wasn't scared. I was happy and enjoyed it!

Sydney B: I mean, was it hard?

Stephanie: It was a tough competition. All [of] the contestants were really talented, but I knew I was going to win. I just had this feeling. Then afterwards, Geneon approached me and through Geneon I learned about I'VE. And I feel in love with I'VE and it's music.

Sydney B: Did you ever feel nervous?

Stephanie: I was nervous at the competition, but it went away once I stepped on the stage. I mean it!

Sydney B: What was the song that you sung?

Stephanie: Ningyo Hime (Doll Princess) from [the Japanese animation] Chobits. I got the chance to record it as well! I wanted to make the song my own version of it, so I practiced a lot everyday, so I could make it my own!

Sydney B: How did your parents, friends, co-workers react?

Stephanie: They were so excited, because I have been singing and pursuing my singing career for a long time! I actually recorded a lot of songs before this, but all independently, so they were happy. They had faith in me, cuz they knew this was my passion and love. Music is everything to me.

Sydney B: When is your CD, "Anime Karaoke Collection CD Soundtrack", coming out and what would like to say to your fans?

Stephanie: My CD is coming out July 5th, but will be sold during Anime Expo July 1-4. And to my fans, don't ever give up on your dream. Reach for stars and never stop. Now that my dreams are close at hand, I hope to gain the respect of everyone who has a dream. Please support me in my current and future projects. Thank you!
