Translated by Sydney Bodem from "Amazon Japan"'s page on her first single: From five years of age, she started playing the electric organ and by her sixth year in elementary school, she won the "All Hokkaido Tournament" (zendoudaikai). From a tender age, she started playing music more and more through elementary, junior high, and in high school where she entered the Wind Instrument Club, playing various wind instruments. There laid her basis for music. In the high school band, she discovered that she enjoyed singing. In college, she distinctively was self-conscious to become a professional. While going to vocal school, her forte (no pun intended!) was the piano, which she made use of in 2006 at (store) concerts, making cover songs at a store, singing to her piano. She had many hits, while residing in Sapporo which caught the eye of music producer "Kazuya Takase", and she made a demo tape.
