Jojo's Bizzare adventure Prequels

Episode 1 -
When an evil spirit causes Jotaro to beat eight people senseless he voluntarily goes to prison. Refusing to leave, Jojo’s mother calls his grandfather to get him out. The grandfather and mother arrive at the jail are escorted to Jotaro’s cell by guards. After being asked to leave the cell, Jojo uses the evil spirit to grab the guards gun. Holding the barrel to his head Jojo pulls the trigger! However, before the bullet could hit his head, the spirit catches it. While Jojo and his grandfather see the spirit’s arms, the guards cannot. Jojo’s grandfather asks is friend Abudoru, the Egyptian man to get Jotaro out of the cell. After approaching Jojo, a huge fire bird spirit called the Red Magician emerges from Abudoru’s back! The sprit then throws fire at Jojo, but Jojo’s spirit helps him escape and grabs the Red Magician by the throat. The Red Magician quickly shoots fire ropes around Jojo escaping his spirits grasp. When Jotaro escapes, he leaves the cell to attack Abudoru, but Abudoru backs away stating he fulfilled the grandfather‘s wish. Jojo’s grandfather then explains the “evil spirit” is actually referred to as a “stand.” The stand does not have to be evil as it helps and can be controlled by its master.

The group returns to the grandfather’s home. Here the grandfather tells Jojo that 4 years ago a case was salvaged off the coast of Africa. The case was supposed to be holding someone, but was empty. It seems an evil stand revived Dio from a deep sleep. The grandfather then calls his stand, the Purple Hermit, which creates vines around his hand. This stand has the power to create images from far away, a technique called “thought writing.” After striking the top of a camera, a dark picture of a man with a star birthmark on his back pops out. That birthmark is a characteristic of all of Jojo’s family members, even his grandfather and mother have it. The grandfather then explains that that is a picture of Dio. Many years ago, Jojo’s great-great grandfather, Jonathan Joestar fought Dio. When Dio’s body was destroyed, he decapitated his opponent and reattached his head on that body. Now that Dio has reemerged, it is their duty to find and stop him. Jotaro gives the picture a closer look, and his stand discovers a small fly. They look up the species of fly to find where it is common and possibly where Dio is hiding. Elsewhere, a mysterious woman reads tarot cards that say the hermit, magician and star that will be god have joined together. As the woman laughs manically, the episode ends.
