Welcome,
to the official Bemis website. Bemis (used to be Rust,
Grover) is a Mendham, NJ based band that has gotten together based on the simple
base of: Three good friends getting together and playing music. Can't
get much simpliar than that. What sets aside Bemis from other bands is their
originality in the songs they play you can see influences from everything from
dave matthews and Guster, to Green Day/Jimmy Eat World/Metallica, to even Bach.
All of which are great elements of music, which when put together, makes one
great band that is Bemis. While other bands bother on very techinical music, and
need to have very deep meaning in every single note they play, Bemis plays with
a different motivation, just to make great feel good songs. A song that means
something to an artist, but sounds like crap, isn't a good song, and that's not
what Bemis is about. Bemis is a band that actually means it when they say:
