Rose doesn't know anything about her origins. All she does know, is that her part in Shinra will make history, and that she is tied to the company no matter what. The only thing Turks are afraid of is their own shadows. Why then does Hojo take such an interest in her, and why does she fear nothing, not even death or the pistols she carries in her hands? Is she doomed to be a lonely shadow for all eternity? Shadows only fade. They never disappear....

I had a lot of inspiration for this from Jenesis X. She got me thinking, and I came up with this one day when I was going out of my head with boredom. So all credit to her, although I don't know if she still writes. This is very much a 'what if' fic, that should, as I've checked it, fit in with timelines and suchies.
