Ben along with others has added his name to the MTV TRL Autographizer. You can see it here http://mtv.com/onair/trl/autograph/index.jhtml

Ben has a little blurb in the new Us Weekly(Feb23rd). It's in the YIP Scene section(p36). "Kelly Osborne following up and coming singer Ben Jelen to his room at the Standard hotel at 2 a.m."

Ben's in the new Issue of YM magazine.

Aww Yeah! Ben Jelen

Name: Ben Jelen

Where You'll See Him: Rocking out in his video for "Come On." Sure, it's a little odd that seagulls, fireworks, and even ravers emerge from his piano, but we give him props for leaving out the half-naked girls that are in every other video on MTV.

Why We Picked Him: Shaggy hair and mesmerizing eyes aside, this 24-year-old is supersensitive, which is super attractive. Almost every song on his debut album, Give It All Away, is about his ex. "But don't think I have all of these unresolved issues," says Ben, who was born in Scotland and grew up in England, Massachusetts, Texas, and New Jersey. "I just write what I'm going through at the time, so a lot of my songs are about being in love, breaking up, or missing someone."

Change is Good: Ben admits that when he first started writing songs about girls at 16, the lyrics were "stupid," but now he describes his music as "U2 meets Sarah McLachlan — at least that's what I hope it sounds like."

You Won't See Him In His Underwear: Ben met his agent at a Jane's Addiction concert in 2002 — he thought Ben would be perfect for a Calvin Klein ad. Ben wasn't into catwalks, but he persuaded the agent to represent him as a musician instead. Soon afterward, he got a deal with Madonna's label, Maverick Records.

You May Want to Reconsider That Red Lipstick: "I really like natural girls who know how to have fun and still be intelligent," says Ben, who has a bachelor's degree in biology from Rutgers University. He is also an actual bachelor. That's right, he's single! — Patty Adams Photo: Xevi Muntane/de facto
