Friday night was narly dudes! this is what went down. chez moi (thats claires gaff) for some bevvies and totp and to straighten hair (obv) then bezzed it down in our chaffeur driven vehicle to varsity to quickly neck some cheap drinks. id say we were all pretty merry already so we hopped skipped and jumped to the loaded dog. here we got some more drinks and then got our groooooove on up on the dance floor. me and joanne started off the dancing. alone. to elton john. was well funny though coz we were going cerrazy on our own.
then we moved up to the toilet. danger. unfortunately there was a little incident with a toilet. in other words we broke it. melissa decided to stand on it to check anjli was still alive and it fell half off then claire tried to fix it and ripped it off the wall. the whole place flooded and they nearly had to evacuate the whole place coz it was leaking through the electrics! mel was shitting it the pussy. then she got well mad at me coz she thought i blamed her which i blatantly didnt.
the rest of the night was much laughs. we danced our blues away. then it came to the end of the night and we went to plaza fish place where this guy who works there looks exactly like justin timberlake (the others seem to think this is debateable) i was well fucked and apparently i was badly trying to flirt with him! get in there with the fish boy claire. THEN we were confronted by the meanest girl

alvinas daughter. she was all trying to insult me nuff and then insulted my hair BITCH and then she pushed me for no reason what so ever and started going mental that i was a student and she hated students and that i was bitching joanne. and then she was all like 'you think youre such a ballerina' i mean, WHAT THE FUCK kind of thing is that to say?? dumb ass. dont worry alice said 'say it dont spray it to her' and we all waited round for a good 20 minutes to see if she would come out so i could fight her. i would have beat her to the ground.

It was fucking BRILLIANT. I loved it so so so much and I simply cannot wait til next year (so many plans already forming in my mind!). We saw many-a-band including The Ataris, Funeral For A Friend, Hot Hot Heat, The Libertines, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Thrice, Lagwagon, Sugarcult, Blink 182, Lamb, and so many more. We met some people including Nick who came to see FFAF and Sugar Cukt with us cos his friends woudlnt go with him. Tim (he drank zeplin white cider) who fancied Tom Hindley (and he was Toms god cos of the zeplin) and Pad (and some say Patrick fancies him back), some people from Kent who some of us didnt like, and what were the names of the guys Nick was with - the people camping behind Claire? Anyway we met them too! Joanne passed out on the first night (Thursday) and aparently Tim was massaging her head - she doesn't remember. Pollard monged out and passed out and woudln't come to!(don't worry - Anjli checked she wasn't dead!). Melissa went to bed well early every night. Followed by Claire slightly later but still early in comparison to Joanne, Pollard and Anjli. Still, everyone got the sleep they wanted I think so its all good. We met up with Ed and his brother on friday. On Monday (the last day) Melissa woke Joanne up as arranged to pack up her stuff to put in The Beast (RIP) and Joanne looke dat her watch and said to Mel "Melissa its 10 to 5, why have you woken me up now?!" "Joanne your watch has stopped" Later Joanne realised that if it was 10 to 5 then she would have had to have gone back in time because she went to bed AFTER that!

results.
thursday was results day but more important was the results night entertainment. obv. every band member went out, save alice who is having a whale of a time in france avec gillen and was greatly missed.
we had a lovely chill/drink at clads free house and then all went home to get changed and ready.
we headed into town and had a lovely meal at noodle bar (which mel spewed up immediately afterwards), got ID-ed at the varsity in town and went to revolution. it was LOVELY in there. id never been before but it was so nice and chilled and the drinks were lovely. clad and joanne then headed off home with mel.
only mel decided to stop off at loaded dog and meet up with nick, greg and charlie and drink some aftershock and then head to varsity next door for a pitcher of woowoo... "how many glasses would you like?" just one please... then she trotted to creation in a wiggly line and no shoes and danced like a wanker all night. when it closed she was sick everywhere in the street again. the bouncers were cheering her on with comments such as "thats it girl, get it all out!"

We all gathered in Claires garden and had water fights and two paddling pools and a slippy slide. Everyone perfected the art of sliding down it (thanks to Pollard's techniques). It FUCKED our muscles (stomach and arms for me) :D It was great!
(by mel) was muchos laughs. i took loads of photos, starting with the BEAUTIFUL one of alice on the main page...this is one of all the band and their alcohol and take away food which started a brill night. We also think owen was sick, coz someone was twice in patches down my road, but he says it wasnt so maybe it was someone we dont know...
claire - wooo its the end of all my exams! summer has started!!!!! joyus! we celebrated with a lovely day/evening yesterday. and went to the magic place! aahhh how i love it there. what exactly are we gonna write in the mailing list?
Yes Mel, I (Joanne) even got the original, hand written set list :D! Everyone should have stayed til teh very end, cos the last band (Sophies boyfriend Ed's, band) were really good. They were ska music so we should have stayed for inspiration ladies. HAIRY COUPLE GUY PLAYS THE TRUMPET FOR THEM! You miiihissed out.
Not only did Best Laid Plans dedicate us a song they said we were fit! Also (by using it) they made our new band name official.
Today was a nice day. me mel nick and josh went to watch less than jake at rock city. hardly knew ANY of the songs at all but it was still good. they played a lot from their new album coz they were promoting it so obviously didnt know many. they did play johnny quest.. and gainsville which were both excellent. i tried to get the set list but no such luck. haha there was this well gay man who was coming on to nick loads and so blatantly at one point which was tres funny. ...
Then we actually got inside to justin. the support act was a let down - Jamila or something. then the lights came on again afterwards and pollard adn anjli ran to get food whilst melissa and joanne went for a wee. Then there was all this big build up and then all of a sudden this massive light came on on mr jt. WOW. He was truly great. He did us all proud. Mel and Clad's favourite bit was when he said "Lets see how educated you guys are" and he sang Gone and Girlfriend by N Sync. Our second favourite adn everyone elses favourite bit was where he did his human beat box thing amazingly greatly for ages. it was truly great.

talk about packed week! monday it was the 2 year may 5th anniversary, the anniversary of the best day and night EVER without exception. hey band, we should write the story of may 5th on some page!
on tuesday claire and pollard got sacked HAHAHAHAHA from stay brite! oh lord the shame. i dont even know why though because we had been doing alright. ish. kill those evil staybrite bastards!
on wednesday it is....wait for it.........JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CONCERT!!!!!!!!! the day we have been waiting for all our lives will have finally arrived. the excitement! muchos gracias to gillens parents for getting the mini bus to take us. oh yes mr jt do me. thursday we have a well earned break before..
friday ALICES BIRTHDAY!!! WOOOOO. she hits the big one seven (17) which means she can drive. if henry ever teaches you alice please let me come along. then saturday...
CLAIRES BIRTHDAY yes its the big day she also turns seventeen. we havent got any plans as of yet, but we will do something damn good. oh yeh but we are going to go and see LESS THAN JAKE on saturday!!! how could i forget.

1st of may
Wow. yesterday me and joanne (and pad and rich) went to see Funeral for a Friend at the Charlotte. and they were incredible. they were supported by an all girl band called Halo Friendlies, we bought their cd coz they were really excellent. they also called me and joanne 'hot girls' and they were really loving us when we went and got our poster signed at the end. they were well fit. well, apart from the psycho drummer.
there was this other band called instruction who were good as well, but a bit preechy (or however you spell it) FFAF were really really good though. there were some fat men there who were homophobic, we didnt like them much.
also it was sooo funny because we were in the toilet and joanne had this thong on, and she pulled it up and was twanging the elastic around while singing "SEXY everything abouot you is so sexy" and then these girls walked in hahahaaa. maybe you had to be there.
ten days to my birthday! and only six days till justin!!!! helllll yeah. unfortunately original birthday plans are off due to bad weather. Friday 18th April
Claire went away to london and bought lots of lovely clothes. She is now away in norfolk. Shes gonna visit cromer (where my auntie, uncle and 2 cousins live)and sherringham (where my granny and grandad, my dads parents, live)BIG UP! Tomorrow alice is going away. Pollard went away to clacton. Melissa is abroad somewhere or other, i can never keep track of where she goes. So there'll only me and Anj left! we'll keep you up to date with what we do.

today i (joanne) had a bbq. it was muchos funos but some nobs (you know who you are!) broke my mums bench! shes well mad. i got a little tipsy. richard waring ate a card board box with burgers in, and dont forget the brown sauce! fool.
Friday 11th April
today was a lovely lovely day. we (claire anjli pollard and joanne) decided to get battered in the day just for laughs. it was all sunny and nice so we trekked down new walk to this bit at the very very end across the road which is in the middle of all these buildings and theres benches so you can lie down and look at the sky. the thing was, we were so battered we were looking at cloud pictures and they ACTUALLY CAME TO LIFE!! like you could truly see the pictures like they were photographs, was soooo good. class quote from claire: "it looks like nature is putting on a cinema show just for us". then we went to the loaded dog and mel got so battered she fell on her ass on the pavement before she even got in the taxi. joanne claire and anjli stayed sober!!! skilllllllssss. young americans show tonight!

wellll whats been happening recently. lets see. this is claire by the way. i think staybrite have sacked me. holy shit. the plans for our holiday are coming along quite nicely, we've been researching where and when to go which is hard but it will be worth it. err reading is looking proper shit this year, Metallica and system of a down are headling JOY. luckily there are some good ones like ummm AFI is actually the only decent one. ohh well we will be plenty drunk and not really know whats going on anyway. it is 4 weeks and 2 days and 4 weeks and one day to alices birthday so naturally we have already started deciding what we're doing. so far we have a bbq planned and we will prolly go to the country for some fun and frolics and a meal in some pub. here is my birthday list:
1) a new video camera seeing as some wanker has well and truly broke mine. THANKS.
2) a massive water pistol like the one tariq soaked me with so bad i had to go home
3) westlifes greatest hits album would be nice
4) one hundred pounds
5) someone can write me a song if they want all about me and dedicated to me.
me and mel are going to see Less Than Jake on my birthday and hopefully joanne if i can find a ticket. so if anyone wants to sell us a spare ticket they have for it we will buy it. i had a good idea just now. we're going to set up a new page which will be drunken ramblings, so when we are real drunk we will come on it and write you all some stuff for you to read. will be fun fun fun! HOW COULD I FORGET! i have some young american males staying in my house at the moment for this thing my sis is involved with. ahhh man they are sooo funny. they made me high five them when i switched on the light coz it was totally far out dude. they always talk about positive energy and stuff. they are really nice actually and they were tie dye tshirts and stuff. one is called trevor and one is called mitch. they are literally in love with josh. when i told them about our band they were practically orgasming at the table. all laughs. over and far out dudes.

No ones written in here for a while so i htougth i would. it'll get taken off straight the way but here goes. alice said the funniest thing to me today - "i fell asleep in my hallway by mistake". class. anyway, can you feel the creative juices flowing? good cos were all writing away. Mines all shite, claires is good. Other band memembers - you all need to try writing, and melissa "his nob up my ass" is not what we're looking for!haha!

right at work yesterday (the coop on clarondon park road) i was involved in an armed robbery. ive had to tell everyone details so i cant be bothered to now...basically i was right by the door so these two guys (with tights on their heads!!!) went straight for me. the guy grabbed me by the collor (i cant spell) of my uniform and got some of my hair - fucking hurt too. then pushed his gun into my side - im sure therell be a bruise soon so ask me for updates - that too hurt, then we went round the back of the shop into the office they made us kneel on the floor, i was wathcing what they were doing and the guy (who had never left my side) kneed me in the head cos he htougth i was trying to look at his face, as if id have thought of that at the time. that really DID hurt.i was on auto pilot and therfore wasnt scared at all at the time. then when i was asked if i was ok, i switched back to manual and started crying. the police man who took my statment was really fit with a south african accent. the police took my uniform for forensics and i had to put it in evidence bags and everyhting. i couldnt do my statement until my mum was there cos im under 18, plus she had to bring me clothes. surprise surprise i got a little cocky but before you all laugh its my way of trying to feel im in control. ive been offered an ear to talk to by the police and the coop (like some head office woman). i cant htink of anythign else to say right now. think how shocked you are to hear my story and then think about what its like for people in the war right now. peace out, Joanne xoxox

Joanne had already detoxed and so she didnt need to again, and Melissa was brutally honest in her realisation that not drinking for 2 months was near to impossible for her, simply because she wanted to. On saturday night Alice, Joanne and Gillen turned up absolutely bladdered at Manorbrooke...so who exactly is left still detoxing?
Tuesday 25th March
i am not joking anymore..dont anyone use my goddam camera without my permission. its getting beyond a joke. this is claire by the way. TWENTY minutes of film was wasted by some twat filming the bloody table at joannes party. also, it causes too many arguments, like when alice threw an ice cube at my lip and made it bleed.

ive had to slightly ammend my no drinking till my bday (10th may if you were wondering) because ive realised after four long, hard days that theres no way im gonna be able to go that long. so this is the new detox - no drinking UNLESS its from bargain booze. because you can hardly argue with getting battered on kumala for 3 pund now can you. go and see jack ass everyone its soooooo funny. staybrite is sucking ass so bad now, we have a new manager from Derby and hes fitter than ross, but thats not saying much. Joanne's party was tip top and GRRRRRRRRREAT, anyone who didn't get her a present - you are stingy. We all had a well good time and thanks to everyone who went and made it fun fun fun...can't wait to see the photos. Wednesday 5th February
today was a very successful day for the band. we had a jammin sesh at alices house. we worked out what our very first song is going to be about...its about when you really like someone but they dont even know that you exist.
its going to be kind of a ska song thats all happy and stuff but still kinda tinged with despair. deep. so far we've worked out that pretend and mend rhyme and also inside, cried and lied do. we also like the word bittersweet coz thats what its like eh. heres how the song will go:
verse one: all about how the person never notices you and you always watch them etc but they dont even know who you are.
the bridge: about how you want just one night with them where its all good and stuff.
chorus: this is quite happy and its going to be about how much you love them
verse 2: how much its hurting you etc

today we went to see The Ataris at the charlotte, minus pollard coz she was well ill. me, melissa and joanne all looked like right over dressed whores but we were still hot. before going joanne drank a bottle of white wine which got her truly battered. me and mel were pretty bad as well, but nothing can compare to jambo. me ol mucka louise was there also.
the ataris were supported by two realllly good bands called Anti-freeze and AudioKarate, they was well good. When Ataris came on we went into the pit of mosh to get well and truly crushed. They opened with your boyfriend sucks, probably one of the best ataris songs. unfortunatley, joanne couldnt quite make it into the mosh pit becuase every time she tried she fell flat on her face. taking everyone else around her as well.
it was soooo good when they played i.o.u one galaxy coz we didnt think they were going to and it was brill. they played loads others like summer wind, i wont spend another night alone, teengae riot and san dimas. san dimas was the best coz me and mel were rammed in this corner where everyone jumped off the stage onto our heads. rock. oh and joanne was sick loads in the toilet and outside. inbetween being sick and falling over she also found time to get some raping done! well done janna!! she also lost her shoe which we tried to find at the end but couldnt. we ran into the backstage area when the door was open and got chucked out by some arsey bastard. AND i managed to get not only an ataris plectrum..but the smashed drumstick they used AND the play list which is in pride of place on my wall. by the end of the concert we looked so damn bad it was untrue.
but it was all worth it coz they were the bestest ever. not as good as green day. but still damn hot.
