OUR STORY
Erin and I first met when she came in for a job interview at Blockbuster video. I was the manager then and when I first saw her, I thought to myself “this woman is amazing”, and from there we started to become friends outside work. Erin went off to school at Mesa State College in Grand Junction for a while, and thinking that we were just friends, lost touch for a couple of months. A single email with the prospect of her coming home was exchanged between the two of us, showing a glimpse of shared feelings. As the semester progressed, Erin stayed in touch with a mutual friend and through him, found out that I was in New York on September 11, 2001. It was then that she realized that I was going to be more than a friend in her life. Her feelings were to strong too keep them inside.
One night in January, Erin’s best friend from New Jersey was visiting. We all met at her house and spent some time together. That night, January 3 rd ,2002, we began dating. Since that moment we’ve been a match made in heaven. On September 16, 2002, one of the most nerve wracking days of my life, I asked Erin’s father’s permission to marry her. We went out to a nice dinner, and then drove up the beautiful Flagstaff Mountain overlooking Boulder, where we agreed to spend the rest of our lives together. And that brings us to this page today, anxiously awaiting the day we can celebrate our love with friends and family.
OUR HONEYMOON
The night of our wedding we are going to stay at a beautiful hotel in downtown Denver
and then the following morning Erin & I will be headed on an Airplane to Orlando, Florida where we’ll be spending 8 days and 7 nights at Disney World!!!
