Trade Goes Through Without Hitch
The trade sending Tiki Barber to Big Pimpin and Deuce McAllister and Donte Stallworth to Flogged has been approved by the commisioners office. It went through without a single complaint.
Commish Makes Major Decision
After weeks of negotiations, Comissioner Scott Polifka has decided not to add the two extra teams and leave the league size at ten.
Early indications had the comissioner happy to have the two team addition, but as talks slowed and events transpired, it became more and more clear that the league would stop at ten teams.
The commissioner stands by his decision, commenting, "The extra teams would have been a bonus, but it would have been a lot of extra work. I felt we had to keep the league expansion to a minimum. At least for this year."
Although the total will stay at ten, new teams were added as old ones dropped out. The commish hopes to keep the level of play very competitive and leaves the door open for expansion in years to come.
