EMF has set ambitious goals for our first three years. Our success will be measured using two primary categories: Implementation and Candidate Achievement. The success of our implementation will be measured based on the statistics highlighted below.
Starting with Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa in 2001, 30 teachers will successfully complete the TNT program and prepare for site assignments, 300 computers will be made ready for use at site, and some 1,200 students will have access to computer education.
The success of Cote d’Ivoire will provide a platform for expansion in 2003.
The second measure of success for EMF is based on the results of candidate and student testing. In order to be invited into the TNT Scholars program candidates must pass the examination administered at the conclusion of the training program. Once invited into the scholars program individuals must commit to follow program policy guidelines. They will then receive a site assignment.
Students at each site will be periodically required to complete curriculum based tests and projects. The results of these tests will be used to measure the success of EMF’s program achievement.
Quarterly reviews and meetings will be used to evaluate the teachers at site. Strict guidelines are required of the TNT teachers.
